The big NY trip

My daughter and I are going on a trip with her dance school to New York this summer and the excitement sure is building around our hose. We are working to help co-ordinate the agenda while we are there and have been looking for information on line to help us with activity planning. The village voice is a great resource on all there is to do and see in New York including music, movies, theater and also provides a fantastic review of New York Restaurants to help us pick all the best spots to hit on our nights out. By using the site we can find restaurants that are in our budget using the price range features and also using the features menu we can sort to find all the kid friendly restaurants to make sure we have a great atmosphere for the girls while we are away. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's the Mom's or the kids that are more excited but I know one thing for sure we are all going to have a great time.

IT'S COMING TO AN END...

Tomorrow starts the beginning to another busy weekend. It starts off with the kids dance rehearsal tomorrow afternoon and will go well into the night then let the shows begin! Trinity and Kohl will be performing Saturday afternoon at 2 pm then we will go back again for 7pm so Trinity can perform her tap dance with her advanced class. We were going to be there anyway because she wants to watch the other dancers. If that isn't busy enough, if enough parents are willing to do our spy theme dance from April we will perform it in the Sunday evening show. I know it sounds like a lot of dancing but after Sunday it is over!!!!! At least until summer camp starts in July. I definitely have a hard core dancer on my hands and I am very proud of Trinity and Kohl for all their hard work and dedication to their dancing.

DANCE CLASSES FORCING ME TO PART TIME JOB

I love watching my daughter dance! She has come a long ways in just 3 years and this year she moved up and joined an older class that is more advanced in tap dancing. She was just there to learn harder dance steps and join them in the dance show for parents. Well last night her dance teacher approached me and invited Trinity to join the class to go to competition with them in May. Trinity was so excited and so was I of course, I am so proud of her and this showed her that a lot of hard work pays off and then to find out that Trinity will be old enough to join the more competitive classes next year which will mean even more competitions for our little dancer. She is well worth all the money this is going to cost us but I think I might have to look into a part (or full) time job in the fall.
