Jamie had to make a trip back east around my birthday so I went with him. We go to visit Monticello and Gettysburg. At Monticello they had a guy dressed up like Thomas Jefferson who talked to us about the place as if he were Jefferson. He did a great job. I asked him about John Hancock. We also got to visit Gettysburg. We didn't have a lot of time to spend on the grounds of Gettysburg but we did make it to the visitors center. The panorama there is really cool. I don't think we have any idea what was sacrificed to bring this country into existence. I really do believe that God was involved in the details.
This was just a random picture while we were driving. Everything is so green and gorgeous back there.
