TJ's championship game was Thursday. We knew it would be a tough game. We beat Highland 2-0 the first time we played them and they beat us 7-1 the second time we played them. TJ had an amazing game. At the bottom of the 2nd inning, we were down 1-0 when he came up to bat. There were 2 runners on. He hit a beautiful hit between left and center field and scored both of those runs. And then on someone else's hit, him and another kid scored. So we were up 4-1 after 2 innings. Highland came back to tie it 4-4 in the top of the 3rd. The next few innings were scoreless. So at the bottom of the 6th inning it was still tied 4-4. The first batter got out with deep fly ball to center. Wyatt Rauch got on with a single. And then TJ got up to bat. Wyatt stole 2nd. TJ hit a hard ground ball to the second baseman who fumbled it. TJ got on, Wyatt scored and we won the game 5-4. It was so fun to watch him have the walk off at bat.
