Santa

We took the kids to go see Santa at Bass Pro Shop the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We were hoping we were early enough in the year that there wouldn't be too many people there. There were still quite a few but we got in and out pretty good and had a fun time playing with some of the toys. While we were waiting in line they had a coloring area where the kids could either write a letter to Santa or color a Christmas picture. I read Emmy's letter to Santa before she put it in his mailbox. She told him that she wanted a blue and white bike. But then she asked him if he ever made anything for himself and told him that this year she thought he should make sure to make something for him. I have seen so much growth in Emmy the past few months. She is definitely starting to think more about other people and not so much about herself. It has been so fun to watch her begin to mature. I am so proud of her and the person she is becoming.
