Me and Jamie were married in August and we got a lot of gift cards. One of the big things we bought with our gift cards was our Christmas tree and we both really like it. It has little clear balls of resin on the ends of the branches that look like icicles. But we have been having problems with the lights on it. We had completely restrung one strand and had several spots out on other strands. So we decided instead of getting rid of the tree we were going to cut all the lights off of it and just put the lights on each year. It took us about 5 hours to get them off. Not fun. But we finally got new lights on it and got it decorated on Sunday.

We also made our own advent calendar this year and the kids loved it.
