Magic Mushrooms?! Whoooops!

Yes, I Was Found on My Backside!

Look up. I did, and I wanted a close up!

I was pretty sure - right from the start - that this was no ordinary mushroom growing out of a scar on my neighbour's tree.

I didn't think it was magic, but I did think is was pretty rare, up there in the air.

So, I tried to get closer to the action.

Nice angle. Can I get closer?

To answer the question, I attempted to shinny up the trunk. And I was initially successful.

"Hey, that's pretty cool. Can I get a bit higher?"

"The big mushroom has a couple of buddies coming along"

"Why, there might be more just to the right. I'll just reach over...."

"I'm losing my grip here!"

"Whoooops.... my life is heading south"

I landed fairly gently to one side of the tree, on the backside of my Levis. Camera held firmly in one hand, I checked my photos. That last one had to be blurry.

Nope, the last one above is the last one on file, and it looks pretty good,.. with an interesting angle.

North of Lindsay, Part 2: Clear, Clear Day.

Gotta Love the Water.

All I did was cough!

Son David found a perfect spot to enjoy a few months beside the Trent-Severn waterway. If I had a million dollars and the view was for sale - I'd buy it!

Photos with a shade of blue:

Yes, I subtracted a shade of blue from a few. But the others seemed to make up for it! : )

North of Lindsay, Part 1: Foggy Morning.

Have Camera, Will Snap w No Warning.

"Looks like a good place to sit down"

My son David rented a cottage north of Lindsay for a couple of months one summer and it was a real pleasure to visit. I knew it was on the water (a river, part of the Trent-Severn waterway) so I always packed a camera or two when my wife and I were able to visit.

"Packed a camera," I said.

A small effort w a big reward at times, in my opinion:

 Nice place to sit

Nice place to sit, says the gull.

 Artsy fartsy

During the day then sun set. So did I, likely close to the same location from which I took the above shots:

More to follow from north of Lindsay.
