itchy hands says ... ...

Colours always fascinate me. They make beautiful paintings, pictures, photos and help create memories. Beautifying the world around us. In the craft-making context, colours speak of moods, emotions, personalities and the surroundings (at least to me). Perhaps that is the reason why I enjoy playing around with colours when I am making cards.
I discovered my interest in card marking when I was in primary school. At that time, putting together a nice decent card was a cheap affair (there weren't many fancy accessories available back then). Now, we are faced with so many choices in these craft specialty stores. However, due to limited budget and insanely overpriced craft materials, I still stick to the simple stuff. Only on special occasions, I splurge a little on fancy papers and embellishments! ;)
Not good with words and at expressing myself, I use the cards to deliver my "messages". My messages are incorporated into the designs, colours and materials used. Though card making takes time and effort, the experience is always enjoyable. More importantly, it is a gift that speaks from the heart.
Michele Gerbramdt, Founding Editor of Memory Makers magazine said it best, "By creating our own handmade cards, we can be sure both the design and sentiments are the jewels we intended because our emotions and creativity crafted them...

Here, at Itchy Hands, is where I will post my humble work to share with people who are interested in them as well. :)
