Reality TV at its best

These days I can hardly wait for the 7:00 hour because that is when my Reality begins. Reality TV that is.

Monday (sadly I have to admit that FHE has to begin and end before 7 or Mom is the one throwing the tantrum). Dancing With the Stars starts the week off followed by the funniest Bachelor yet with his English accent and all(a man with an accent - I'm swooning).
Tuesday brings me the biggest night ever with the flipping at commercials and the VCR recording (yes we still live in the stone age) just to watch all my faves because American Idol, Biggest Loser and Dancing Results shows are all on.
Wednesday does not disappoint with American Idols Results show but that's where the week tends to go downhill until...
Thursday brings back my Grey's Anatomy which the countdown is on. Only 2 more weeks. I know Grey's is not a Reality show but you can't live in the real world all the time ...and can you get any better than the eye candy on that show - I don't think so.
Friday is a bust nothing good on so I just have Jon take me out(which I'll admit is better than any TV show) :)
Saturdays don't need TV shows they are more for watching good movies.
Sunday is AFV - still laugh even if it's a rerun. Extreme Makeover Home Edition - still cry. Oprah's Big Give - great Sunday show with all that service and giving, and the Newlyweds - only one show left, boo.

Well, that sums up my week of too much TV and lots of entertainment.
Now that I write all this down I see that I may have a slight addiction. Oh well at least I admit it and isn't that the first step to recovery?!!!!

Pam, you are brave to admit it. I'm afraid that if I fessed up to my tv watching that I would not like what I see. I don't watch that much at night - mostly in the mornings and late at night (all of my favorite cable reality shows don't come on until 10:00 or later).

I will admit that I find that bachelor pretty hunky. I just watched my first one this week. Why do the girls have to be so nuts?

I love Survivor and Biggest Loser and of course Amazing Race when it is on. I think the only non-reality show I watch these days is ER.

I always say that if I was spending my computer time and my tv time doing online schooling or something, I would probably have my doctorate by now.

Umm...I plead the fifth. hehe

Okay - I will admit that I am a big DWTS fan, an Idol watcher and I used to be a BL subscriber (but I can only record two things at once on the DVR - so it got the ax when DWTS came back).

Am I lame? I've only seen Grey's once - but I do have a great love for that handsome Patrick Dempsey--I heart "Enchanted"! Truly, Sunday nights are too hard to watch TV shows for me (not cause I'm being super spiritual or anything - but DH always has some sporting event he's tivoed and watches that night). But, now that "Grey's" is on Thursday nights I feel like I've missed too much to really feel the love.

Cute post Pammi!

P.S. My sis has been trying to get me to watch Bachelor (and Apprentice & Project Runway) for years. I agree with Jo - the girls are so embarrassing on Bachelor that I can't bear it.
My Sis almost has me sold on the Celebrity Apprentice - I watched the last 3 shows online and I had a great love for that Trace Adkins. He cracked me up!
And I did enjoy Project Runaway this season.
Okay - confessional is officially over. And yes - I feel cleansed.

You are going to be a great blogger! Outting your addictions in post #2. You are destined to go far!

I used to be a Survivor girl...there was this one episode where a naked guy (parts were blurred) wrestled and killed a shark that was attacking him and he cooked it up and served it for dinner to his starving teammates. I mean, that was good TV.

I also love So you think you can dance, and this season I'm watching Idol cause Janie and I can watch together. I saw the British Bachelor this week too. But I agree, I can't watch the shallow, cat-fighting chickadees. We all know that no man is worth that, ladies.

I also love all the British auction reality/game shows they have on BBC America, Flip this House, and my extra fave: House Hunters International.

The Office and How I met Your Mother are my two non-reality shows. SHHHHH.

P.S. What happens on Pam's blog, stays on Pam's blog, right?

In that case, I'll admit I also Tivo The Soup.

Ummm... Hi, I know we've never met, but I feel like I need to defend myself just a tad. Since my sister confessed my sins instead of hers. I'm a big Apprentice, Biggest Loser, American Idol, Project Runway fan. Used to be DWTS, but haven't watched one yet this season. Felt like I was watching too much. And here is my proudest moment---I haven't fallen into the Bachelor trap this season. I feel so accomplished, but DH was gone on Mon. and I faltered and recorded it, but then found my inner strength and didn't watch it. But, now after hearing it's your fav. I might have to endulge. I like to think since I'm a Fox News junkie that I'm balanced. Scary huh?

I love all the confessions. Yes, like Kelly said this is like Vegas nobody can judge on here or talk about it after. HaHa! I love it. Heather, I think "The Office" starts in like a week or two it is also a fave of mine. By the way you and Kelly are BEAUTIFUL in your pictures.
Welcome sweet sister of Nic. I love the relationship between you two...nothing like having your own sister tell all your little secrets when your not looking. :)
Girls one of the reasons I find the Bachelor so interesting is the one reason you all don't even like it. Does that make me a bad person? I can't wait to see how crazy the girls really can be and what stupid things they will do just for lust..oh, I meant love.
