"A Kid at Heart"

This month - Verve stamps (I recently found their stamps - don't own any yet) has a challenge called "A kid at heart". I decided to do a project for my 2 year old. She LOVES to help me stamp and color! She will sit at the side of the table and color stamped images with me and pick up my scraps and want to glue them on paper. It's pretty cute!

I used a whole bunch of animal/kid stamps that I own from Gina K, SU, Autumn Leaves, CTMH, House Mouse and made her a little tiny coloring book. The book is 3 inches by 3 3/4 inches. I used my bind it all to bind it all together! There are 20 pages in the book, each stamped front and back with an image that she can color! This will be perfect in my purse or her little bag that she carries with her everywhere! She can put her book and some crayons in her bag and we'll go!
The front is decorated using Basig Grey bittersweet paper scraps. The color me was stamped using CTMH doodle alphabet and the hearts are from SU Love Matters, stamped on BG bittersweet and cut out.

Taylored Expressions: Celebrating a Year of Cupcake challenges!

I was feeling ambitious the past two day and found another challenge to try out. I wanted to see if I could make all 9 cupcake cards with DIFFERENT stamps. I think I succeeded!

All of these (9) cards are made with different sketches. Taylored Expressions has a Cupcake challenge every Friday that I have looked at before, but never participated in. I love cupcake cards, so I decided to join in!

I will link each title of the card (keywords) to the page where the sketch is located. Each of the cards will be uploaded to SCS so I have the chance to win $10 gift certificates to Taylor's Store!

Another challenge card: This one for the Basic Grey challenge. I have recently fallen in LOVE with the BG 6x6 paper packs - they are perfect for cards and BEAUTIFUL!

This challenge is found the on BG blog and they have weekly challenges there too! This one was a recipe challenge to use:
Ingredients 2 Patterned papers 1 Button 1 Ribbon and Bow 3 Brads on the card

I had my Penny Black stamps out already so I pulled out this image - Back Riding and stamped it up. This might be the first time it has seen ink (eek!) Colored with copics and used Basic Grey paper and buttons. I think I may have cheated a little - I used cord instead of ribbon..... I hope that's ok!

Another challenge - Penny Black week 33

I had SO much fun this weekend with challenges! DD got up to the craft table and colored while I stamped and made cards!

I have been using a lot of Unity... So I pulled out my House Mouse stamps! I LOVE this image! I searched during our trip across country because I "needed" this stamp for some pictures I have of Abby with shoes on that are WAY too big!

I used the House Mouse "Big Foot" stamp along with Unity's Tiny Trinity and Our Life, Our Stories sets.

I found a site "The Daily Dare" that lists all the challenges online for that particular day - this was one of Saturday's challenges. I have tons of Penny Black stamps, just need to pull them out and use them! This weeks challenge was to "Frame it" use a frame anywhere on your card/page. I "framed" the hello on this one!
