Unforgettable 'Happy Teachers' Day 2007!!

31st August the last day of the month also the day of celebration for teachers' day... was soo unique and special this year eh. Went to school as usual but find it rather weird on bus as i didnt see any of the st nick girls ard... so thought maybe they have all gone to school very early for the celebration thingy?

Then reach school see no ppl so quiet... feel weird... saw Principal and some teacher outside the big gate... cars coming sending ppl off... O_o?? Nvm i continue walking in... pass by the toilet walking towards General office saw Joaquim, Siew Lian and Si Si sitting at the piano seat chatting so i greeted them.

Then Jo said 'Hey u can go home alr... sch no power supply how to work?'. Then i was there O_O at her and she continued, 'Really! I'm not joking... you see no lights and no1 in school... sorry forgot to inform u last nite...'. OMG so that's why no students around eh... but how did they know abt it???

Then the principal and v.p give speech... last nite around 10pm plus the school generator finally 'collapsed'. It has 3 wires and 1 of it long ago faulty le... until now its affecting the other 2 wires so much that it is best advised not to turn it out again as it might lead to an explosion... so the school inform all students thru PSG (parent support gp) telling them not to come to school...

Yeah, this is the first year i got to experience Teachers' Day and it turn out to be sooo unique wor!! Haha... anyway yesterday there were already some girls looking for teachers giving them presents. There's one girl suddenly come to me with a present and said 'Happy Teachers' Day' and she ran off as she blushes a little. Haha... cute but i dont remember her though... but i think that's a gift all teachers will get. *^^*

P.S: In the end cant do work w/o electricity supply so have to go home... shiock eh... got 'off-day'. haha, but then waste my transport fees...

Damien Hirst skull sells for 100 million dollars

LONDON (AFP) - A diamond-encrusted skull by British artist Damien Hirst sold on Thursday for 100 million dollars (75 million euros), a record price for work sold by a living artist, a London gallery announced.

The work, entitled "For the Love of God," is a skull cast in platinum and encrusted with 8,601 diamonds. Carbon dating has shown that the original skull on which Hirst's work is modelled dates to the 18th century.

Hirst remains best known for earlier conceptual works in which creatures including a shark and a cow were pickled in formaldehyde inside glass tanks.

The diamond-encrusted skull was sold to an group of anonymous investors, a spokeswoman for the White Cube gallery in London, where it has been on display from the beginning of the summer, told AFP.

Death is one of the central themes in works completed by Hirst, 41, who once said that the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States were like a work of art, but later apologised.

Hirst also holds the record for the most expensive work of art by a living artist at auction -- his "Lullaby Spring," a three-metre (10-foot) wide steel cabinet containing 6,136 hand-crafted and individually-painted pills, sold for 19.2 million dollars in June.

Heehee,

Did something special over the weekends eh...
So what have i done? Last saturday early in the morning wake up. Wanted to go to Kino 1st but then as we drag and drag so in the end only went to the Singapore Conference Hall for the Melaleuca talk on new product launch (talk title is Build Your Tomorrow Today). It started from 2:30pm and end at 5pm (stated on the entry ticket). We were there early and it was raining abit.

We sat in the hall for a long time eh... the talk only starts around 3pm!! Omg... so late from what it was stated on the entry ticket eh... so we listen and watch some of the videos... that Ang Moh talker (forgot his name, some director frm US) keep dragging the time... talk about the way to become a director and whatever... till 4pm he still don want to start to talk about the new product launch so sis and i just walk out of the hall and went to our next venue.

We meeting Minako and our brother at Orchard MRT stn for the next date. Origianlly our cousin, Duan and our fren Yun Yun are joining us. But then last minute Duan had something on and Yun got sore throat, so left with the rest of us loh. Its ok lah... first we meet up with our bro then meet up with Minako. After that we went to Mac to get some food (for our dinner) and i saw two not bad looking ang mohs. Haha. =X Next we go to the KTV at CashStudio (Dont ask me why the name). Reach there around 5:30pm. It was under an old building. Minako forgot which floor was it so we just try all the basement lvl. The B2 was scary, when the lift opened, what we saw is a place w/o lights on and it was locked. O_O. Anyway it is in the lowest floor of all, B3.

This can be considered as the 2nd time for me to go to KTV. The first time was with Sis's fren 'PP'(her nick) and some of PP's frenz. It was not a nice experience (?) cos we are not farmiliar with each other and some of the guys were smoking. Only 1 of them were considerate as to move to a corner to enjoy his puff (i remember not bad looking, too bad he smokes). It was at Party World and was damn expensive... we didnt get to sing (becos of some reason). Anyway at Cash Studio although the songs are not updated and the MTV were not the original one BUT we are allowed to bring in our own food and drinks. If we buy a package we get to have free drinks. Unlike other KTVs where u have to buy the towels and drinks (compulsory).

We sang lots of Jap and Korean songs plus a few chinese songs and only 1 english song (Cant take my eyes off you). Haha... sang until 9:45pm and we went off. Calculate the bills and each people pay $18.90 (we have 4 person) so it is really much cheaper than Party World or K-Box. Went to the Mac again for some snack before we go home. It was a fun saturday night. *^^*

Broken Heart.. New Blog Skin - Lady Assassin

Yo ppl out there!!
Have 'forced' to change my blogskin eh...
I think for those of you who were my 'regular visitor' should know why am i being forced to change, the previous blog skin was simple and classic BUT the author somehow did something, so the image was no longer there.... and i saw a damn big ugly frog instead... =.=

Nothing much happened lately except the incident yesterday early morning when i reach the staff room. Same routine, took my mug and bottle to put in new water for the day... but then added an extra small plastic container. So i put the container on top of my mug (on the cover, donnoe what's the name of it).

I walk damn slow back to my seat after getting all my water... but then SUDDENLY i saw my mug cover actually 'moved out' from the mug and dropped onto the floor... was damn shock at first when i witness the scene... then i was damn sad of cos to see my mug cover broken into 2 big pieces, 4 smaller pieces and other tiny parts (which could not be kept due to the size... very hard to find not to mention they are dangerous).

My heart felt a stab, then the same feeling went to my index finger of my right hand... and i took a look and realise omg since when did i got a cut from one of the broken pieces? It was a small cut but i think abit deep? Cos only today then i realise i could see the cut line very clear...

The mug... was a horoscope mug... with special cover on top that can still be use to cover the mouth of the mug even with a spoon in it. Yes, it came with a spoon and a small 'net' like thing for filter i guess. The main point here is, this mug is my birthday present for this year... and it was given by my sister. Now that it was broke i am damn upset.

So i collected all the broken pieces (visible ones) and kept them in a medium size plastic container (those where you go take away ice kachang one). Sooo... SAD... because of my idiot thoughts and action that cause the 'death' of the mug cover. It could also be that BMU's doing... i'm not sure but i know its my fault... when i'm free on sunday i will go try to glue them up again.

P.S: Now that the cover's gone... i am left with the mug only... but i will keep it and not use it, to avoid that BMU from harming it again... or also to avoid my idiotic way of doing things from putting it in danger in any way.

Going to start a blog on my Granado Espada Journey... anyone interested in it?

Yo ppl out there,

THE TIME IS NOW!! LOLX (Ok i learn this from Fighter of the GE Adventure Comic, veyr funny.) Actually I had a hair cut on the 29th July (Sunday) but then i think my hair grow back fast again... haha.

Update on Life

Have been playing GE as usual. When i were to play Audition usually i play One-Two Party mode lah, very fun mah.. but have to practise normal mode as well or else cannot pass the license. Now for Audition is level 7.
As for GE, i am soo noob. Only last sunday then i realise how to use Stances... lolx. No wonder my character train like super slow sia... I was scare that my Scout will die if i were to let him be in first-aid mode (which means have to remove his weapon) but then amazingly my 2nd gp; Wizard, Elementalist & Scout actually survived. Usually they die veyr fast one. LOLX

Have been invited into Fraction as well and the ppl are nice. Can ask question and have random chatting topic... last nite i think i'm the only gal online in the fraction. Also, i have new frend request in GE, he was from Audition as well! When i accept him, he asked 'You play Audition right?' LOLX He was shock and surprised to see Audi ppl in GE and so am i! Haha.

Updates on Work

Talk about work i seriously dont like this school loh. Yesterday Ahmad ask me to go to his IT class and 'talk abt something' while his class were doing their given assignment. Ahmad asked my working hours and i told him. Then he said how came shorter working hours? Then i told him HE was the one who change the start work time one loh. Then he told me ACTUALLY MINE WAS 5.5 Day PER WEEK JOB. By right Sat shd work but they put the Sat Hours into Weekdays... so its like 9.5 hours in sch per day (including 1 hour lunch). Wau lau eh... to be honest the first thing i hear this of cos very angry lah... cos from march till now then he mention its a 5.5 day per week job. Really =.= loh. Then i seriously feel like requesting to change school alr.

So i phoned Mike (my AM) and talk abt it. Ahmad then talk to Mike on it over MY PHONE. Then Ahmad kept saying "I'm very flexible one, so if FiOh think its too early to come sch can come at 8am instead of 8:30am one. It's better to have her here at 7:30am when sch start lah, so when we need her help its better." Then after he end the call with Mike he told me "I think you come 7:30am better". LOLX, Donnoe who's the one keep saying HE IS VERY FLEXIBLE one ah? =.=

Then later when we head back to staff room he was there saying "FiOh ah, next year..." and i cut in "Next year I wont be here." Then Ahmad looked at me and asked "Eh?" and i said "It's only a year contract so next year i wont be in this sch". Ahmad then asked "You dont like this sch?" (Ok, isnt it obvious?) And I said "Yes, i dont like this school" and of cos Ahmad wanted to know why... then i told him i find the organisation very bad... and he wanna noe more... so what? i just said "I will tell you on my last day".

Well... so that's all ba...
Right now everyday is hoping to go home early to do my own stuffs... die, havent been writing my fanfic. I think will write soon lah. Haha... as for blogging... have to see my mood and if i am not tired le.
Something funny to share: The staff room door bell for non-staff to press (only staff got the access), don noe is battery life fading or what, but the 'Ding Dong' sound is now 'Out of Tune'. Sounds so funny loh.

New Blog Skin 4 August 2007 - Long Updates

Yoz,

Just finish with putting up this new blogskin for the month August.
Well, last week my mum have been helping my dad's sworn brother's daughter's 2 younger baby daughters. They are Rui Xin and Rui Ting, 4 mths old. Cute but very 'da xiao jie' attitude. But then they will listen to me and be good. Haha.

Brought the O&J Mangoes frm (Product of Pakistan) school offer, 3kg @ $18. Not sure if it is expensive but since i was told abt this last friday and had to make order by then so i just 'pre-order' it. It was said that it will ripe by 31st July 2007 or later... but its still half green and yellow so let's wait for a few more days i guess.

Monday was the eLearning day for the school and i was placed at the G.O (General Office) to answer call regarding help on elearning stuffs. Last fri was told to create a screenshot guide of how to access the portal and sent to the HOD IT. He edited and add in the letter for parents regarding the elearning days for pupils. I had uploaded the word doc and update the website (and checked of cos).

But on Monday morning while i am waiting for the 2nd bus to tranfer to SNGS the HOD called and said the file was not on the sch website and parents are calling in to complaint. He even said: " Did u check after u update the website? This is very bad ok. Parents are complaining. The file isnt there, i am at the website viewing right now." Some thing stupid is my start work time is 8:30am but i will sometimes arrive slightly late due to the two buses. So at that 8am plus he called and ask if i am in school... HELLO, ITS NOT EVEN MY START WORK TIME WOULD I BE IN SCH?? =.=

Somemore when i reach sch, i went to the read the letter for the parents... they were refer to the http;//schoolhomepage.edu.sg/index.htm. So i tried going to the site with 'index' and w/o. Its different, so i open up the MS Office SharePoint Designer 2007 to check out the index page... so its Frames page and don noe who the previous person incharge of the website, so idiot that the frame page (index) the content link to another page call 'main. But by right the content page shd be 'intro'. So WTF is this? Stupid...

Serious speaking i find this is a lousy school even if it's a 'Famous School' (Ming Xiao or whatever they call i dont care). Today there's another maddening matter. Bobby the TA... when he was told to install certain software to my pc, he would just come to my place and LOG OFF my account to get into the Admin account. This is seriously very RUDE and ILL MANNERED. I have some tutorial websites for my work as well as a downloading file (ard 20% plus) and it needs another 5 hour plus to complete the download. This Bobby just come and simply logoff your account... there goes my files and websites. I HATE IT MAN!! IF NOT FOR I AM SLPY AND TIRED, I WILL FLARE UP.

I told sis abt it when i reach hm she said if i can ask for a sch transfer... i am not sure... but i think i will try to bear and tolerate with all those nonsense people... =.= There are Even other staffs who doesnt like the school nor the people as well. The sch wont even report abt one of the bad student's attitude becos they are afraid of trouble... and this sickening student frm P6 even address me 'Aunty' on monday... =.= I only accept kids before the age of Primary 1 to address me as 'Aunty'... somemore this P6 gal looks more Aunty than me... WTF. Talking abt eLearning, i actually receive call frm my HP regarding the eLearning help from students and parents... so i think the staff ppl re-direcr the calls to my HP. Just becos of all the lines of sch are engaged. =.= WTF again!
I shall see when will my 'good limit' runs off in this sch. U know, i'm nv a good temper person...

Let's change topic here... frm the dream last nite (Monday) i realised something. Ok the dream is weird i was in some kind of place exploring... there's Art gallery, and all sorts of exhibition and the venue looks like 'under HDB flats'. Then not very far away there's a path leading to a smooth looking green forest but with slight mist and mysterious feel. Then in the dream ELP Guy called me (or the other way round?) telling me not to mix ard with certain frens... in the dream ELP Guys is my BF!! Omg... i dont noe why but in my dreams when i got to know ELP guy is my bf, or rather when i know i am being 'Attached', I feel really WEIRD.

Dont ask me why cos i am wondering why also. I just feel very 'troubled' and 'annoyed' that i am actually someone's girlfriend. I dont know why i have this feel but i just dont like the idea of being titled as someone's gf. This is veruy weird i noe... but i oso dont noe why i feel this way. So in real life... i recalled 'AH incident'... i really had that same feeling when he is my 'labelled bf'. I really dislike it... it is like 'Wu Nai' kind of feel... think my heart really die off? Oh yah, few weeks ago (?) SH sms me asking how's life... and i asked how's his said 'Men are born to be bastards and women are jealous'. SIAO. Of all guys i noe, ONLY his gf act this way... and the worst part is 'ALL his GF' are the same, similiar character... (dont worry he wont read my blog) he really have lousy taste in girls i would say.

Actually that time after the chat with his gf on msn i alr deleted his hp contact. So when he sms, i was thinking who is it but then i saw the 'face' he put then i start to suspect him (cos all guys i noe only he would put those kind of ^^ face like we gals do). Then i just reply and don care. I am switching between my VS3 and X520. So when he sms to me when i am using the X520, i saw his name... X520 still have his contact... since this is fated so i am lazy to delete the contact again. Anyway i guess he wont be sms-ing me anymore in the future and neither do i, unless i have been struck on my head that make me lose my mind.

Last of all Sorry for the long post and late update... have been really busy with work now... esp. dealing with some 'nonsense ppl' of the sch. =.=
