another card from fishy philosophy.  i love these little fishies. and they are so cute swimming in a big group. so tried my hand at masking. i discovered a super easy way to mask. post it notes. they are easy to cut and don't stick to your paper. plus, you can cut two at a time!! easy peasy.

i tried the stamps from fishy philosophy for something totally unrelated to water! i used the one stamp as flowers and the other as the tree branches. today is monday, so there is a h{ippity} hop blog hop. start at the beginning of the h{ippity} hop to see everyone's creations. also, new {ippity} stamps come out on august 12th!!

another card for the h{ippity} hop blog hop posted over on my other blog for the hop. i used the love in return kit. one thing i've tried to figure out, since i don't do much (read any...) scrapbooking, is how to use the awesome journaling stamps that unity and {ippity} has (and other companies for that matter). the stamp under the scallop popped up is one of the journaling stamps. i love the border so i wanted to use it. and the scallop fit perfect to hide the lines! it just shows how versatile the stamps are! the patterned paper is from the winter 2010 collection. to buy the kit or the paper, visit the buy stamps page.
