OK, here is another one of my "spark my creativity" tip...
sketches!
I love the fact that sketches make you think in their box, so a lot of the design is done for you. All you need to do is provide some awesome papers and a sentiment, and voila! You're done!
The sketch I am using here is from DCWV - November Stack -a-holic challenge:
DCWV - Stardust Stack
Martha Stewart - holly leaves
Marvy - metallic gold marker
Faber Castell - pitt pen
stamp - misc.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Still keep those that were in the path of Hurricane Sandy in your thoughts and prayers. Also, another reminder for today: Thank God for the roof over your head, electricity, gas, food, clothes...remind yourself how lucky you are, and never forget that there are people out there who would be happy with what you have.

A gorgeous card Sandee, love the colours you have chosen. My heart goes out to those in the USA affected and you are right, we should all count our many blessings...... Crafty hugs, Anne x
I would like to meet the person who would be happy to have my runny nose! That said, awesome sketch. I was just admiring it over at the DCWV blog. I like this design to use up all those cool bits of patterned paper you have lying around. I'll definitely be trying out this sketch... well, assuming I ever find the top of my desk again.
Beautiful card Sandee :D
I share your prayers and sentiments over the troubles caused by the recent hurricane :0) Mo x
Hi Sandee,
Yes, I am very fortunate. Having been flooded once, I have a bit of knowledge on what damage water causes. Bless those that will be dealing with Sandy for years to come.
Your card is wonderful. Love it.
Hugs,
Kay
scrolling through your posts and catching up on what you have been up to kind of freaks me out... all your work is so polished and clean and wonderfully detailed... I have no idea how you do it... I would have glue everywhere and half a tag stuck to my right ear.... so impressed...xx
and you have been busy!!!!!!
I love the colors you chose to go along with this sketch! They are fabulous!
Ooooo now that is super Sandee. The colours are gorgeous and the sketch quite straigh tforward. Might have to have a go myself. BJ
Fabulous card Sandee... Brilliant take on the sketch, love those colours & great design...Hugs May x x x
It seems we are on the same wavelength, Sandee. Not the sketch, but the prayer that shows those of us who are SO lucky MUST be thankful for what we have. I know you and I are both blessed in that respect.
Oh I love this card, Sandee. It's such a beautiful Christmas card. Great job!
