Hi! My name is Mary. Nice to meet you. I live just outside Washington, DC and spend my days drawing things and taking pictures.
This blog is where I share bits of my work, my life, and the art and design that inspires me. I have an Etsy shop where I sell felt jewelry, illustrated journals, and accessories, and a Society6 shop where I sell prints, phone cases, pillows, and other things.
This blog started several years ago as a behind-the-scenes look at my shop, My Hideaway, but it has since grown into much more than that. I love exploring my hometown (and beyond), and I'm passionate about photography and sharing my adventures. I also tend to get crafty during the winter months when I'm cooped up indoors, and I love to share diys here too.
My absolute favorite place to be in the whole world is an art museum, and if I can't have that, than a cozy bookshop will do. :)
