while dragons dream TIO..#133 Dt make

well it the dragon has been dreaming again over at dragons-dream

and we have a new recipe...

while dragons dream..

the ingredients are :

a clear moon,

a night sky,

and a mythical creature..

 

oh and make sure you make a tag and use at least one real stamp..

 

so here is my make:

( I have adapted slightly as I couldn't find a mythical creature!! so I kind of adapted..and went all dreamy!)

 

 

so I clear embossed some stars and masked off a moon,

I then inked using two colours of distress

to create a night sky..

 

 

I added some rock candy stickles and rubbed over to create

a twinkly effect.

 

The image is a stampsmith one

stamped in coffee archival

and I added a wing stamped on tissue to create a mythical, dreamy feel..

 

 

finally I added a twirl of wire with some little beads treaded on,

some twirls if wire and dyed seam binding at the top.

 that's two days and no tag!

there is some ..rock candy loose glitter though...

so here is my make today:

 

 

well as i know own a stampsmith stamp...

hope to add more to my stash soon!!!

 

(selling some stash here to pay for them..

fungers crossed!!!)

 

i wanted to enter their challenge white on white..

i started by covering the canvas board in tissue wrap

and covered it in a thick layer of gesso..

to create texture.

 

the edges were embossed with white frantage.

i added lace

flowers..painted white

and

yes you have guessed glittered!! with rock candy distress loose glitter..

did i say i LoVE this!!?

 

 

dream was cut,

lightly coloured with antique linen..just to lift if from background

and triple embossed.

 

 

the image..gorgeous isn't she

was stamped in black archival

on card with a slight coating..i love her...

i did scuff the edges with a tonic tool

 

 

and finally some snowflake die cuts

with little wooden stars..

painted white

and liquid pearls centres..

 

i loved making this and had a ball.

sorry for the delay in my next post

 but finally here she is:

 

 

the challenge over at artful times..

is a fabric tag.

and i had a stash of calico sitting unloved in the corner..

so here are the results

 

i die cut two tags from calico,

coloured with distress

and stamped fab Artistic Stamper script over

in coffee archival..

 

i then stamped this beautiful stampsmith stamp..

my first ...onto calico using coffee archival..

 

 

the floral trim

was dipped into

tea dye stain

and then dusted with walnut stain DI

 

to complete

i added some leaves cut from autumn foliage strip die

from the crafty master Tim

and treated with a rusty treatment from the great timeworn workshop..

 

i also used the same treatment for the rusty rose..

well hope it looks rusty!!!!

 

 

and some twirls of a new goodie..rusty wire!

i love this stuff..so expect to see it lots!!!!
