Hi Bloggers.
Here's today's card -
Another really easy card to make. I cut 3 strips of Coconut White Card. I cut the central panel from the Happy Hour Background into each one. I matted them all onto Black Card.
I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card using the Couture Creations Velvet Tea Lights Embossing Folder. I matted onto Black Card and then another piece of Coconut White Card.
I cut the sentiments from the 3D Cosmopolitan Cocktail Die Set out of Black Card.
I completed my card by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner of my embossed background, edging with CS Glue and adding CS Crystal Chips.

Hope you can join in the fun today on Hochanda. The full schedule is in the left-hand sidebar of this blog.
I've added photos of the samples from all 3 of my shows to the Gallery Section of this blog and to 3 albums on my Julia Watts Crafts Facebook Page.
My Website is up and running again! Yay! It's not perfect but it already looks much better, I think so anyway. I have added a section for the Takeover weekend. You can find it here. Please note - prices are shown as ex-VAT (sigh!) - it will be added at checkout. If you're an existing customer, I think you will need to create a new account but then all your details should come up.
You can enjoy 10% discount on products in this section but it's NOT automatic - you will need to enter TAKEOVER in the discount box at checkout. Please don't ask me to amend your order if you forget - I have tested it and it does work. Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night.
You may want to read the Shipping and New Website Info pages at the bottom as navigation is not brilliant just yet and I'm not shipping outside UK at the moment.
Any problems - shout but be patient as I'm a bit busy!
Thanks for stopping by.

Here's today's card -
For the background, I cut Sue Wilson's Classic Weaving Die out of Coconut White Card. I then ran the die cut through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Couture Creations Velvet Tea Lights Embossing Folder.
I cut Sue's Striped Weaving Die out of Sky Blue Card twice. I glued the 2 Striped die cuts together, offsetting them to fill in the gaps. I cut these down into pieces 2 and 3 strips wide.
I then wove my background weaving the striped strips through the classic die cut. With 3 strips, over 1, under 1, over 1, under 1 and so on to the end. With 2 strips, under 1, over 1, under 1, over 1 and so on to the end. I repeated these 2 rows until my piece was complete.
I made a frame out of Coconut White Card using dies #2 and #4 out of Sue's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B. I added it to my background using 3D Foam Tape and trimmed away the excess using scissors.
I used Sue's Happy Birthday Circle die set for my topper, cutting out of Coconut White and Sky Blue Card (this die set is currently out of stock at CE but I'm told more stock is expected end of February). I used 3D Foam Pads in between my layers.
I cut Sue's Star Flower Cluster (this is due back in stock end of February too) out of Coconut White and Sky Blue Card.
I finished my card by adding a 5mm White Pearl to the corners of my frame and Coconut White and Sky Blue mats.
Sue's new die release will be launched on 26th January. I have them on pre-order and I have loaded the stock on my website with 10% discount here. I still need to load the new stamps - I will try to get that done by the end of today.

Thanks for stopping by.
