Our Word Prompt challenge for the next two weeks is: WOODLAND. A dictionary definition describes woodland as an area covered with woods, trees and/or shrubs. While a 'woodsy' card/project is a fabulous fit, we also encourage you to consider wider (and possibly even more 'fun') definitions.
- How about the flora (wildflowers, mushrooms, etc), and fauna (forest creatures - bears, moose, deer, bunnies, hedgehogs, snails...) that can be found in woodlands. Baby nurseries/cards are often fabulous sources of woodland inspiration.
- Or, perhaps the 'magical' beings that inhabit woodlands: fairies, elves, gnomes, ogres?
- What about activities that occur in/around woodlands: outdoor skating, sledding, nature walks?
With these as just a snippets of ideas, it's time to turn the challenge to the Design team and to you.
