Rainbow of Color with FM151

Good Monday morning!  Well its more snow for me here in Virginia.  Bummer, just when I was getting used to our couple days of 70 degree weather and sunshine.  With it snowing outside, and all my house cleaning done, it was time to head off to my craft room and finally get in some fun!

Todays project is for The Friday Mashup.  Head over, read the details and join in the fun.

So with this card, I used their sketch and created it with lots of rainbow colors.  One of the new items from the Spring Occasions catalog I've been wanting to play with, is the new fringe scissors.  Oh what fun I had!  I cut each piece in a strip and cut along the bottom leaving a small space at the top for gluing.  I just started with violet and worked my way to the top.

On the inside, cause you can't leave out the inside....I cut little narrow 1/4" strips of different lengths and cut them at the bottom like a banner.  glued them side by side and added a some gold sequin trim.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ Night of navy, whisper white, real red, tangerine tango, rich razzleberry, crushed curry, gumball green
Ink ~ basic black
Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have enjoyed my take on the sketch/theme at The Friday Mashup.  Don't forget to leave some "love"!

Punchy Flowers with FMS126

Today I am playing around with the new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.    One of the reasons I love their sketches, is that they are nice and simple.  They can be dressed up or left along and kept just that...simple!

I wanted the highlight of my card to be the flower.  I love using all my flower punches to layer and make one nice, stacked and full flower!  I inked up all the edges in melon mambo and one by one started stacking.  I used my fringe scissors to make the cute little center.  I just love those scissors!

Thanks for stopping by to see my project!  Don't forget to leave some "love", as I always enjoy reading your comments!  None are too small and never go unread!
