It's iconic, right? This is an Eastern Grey Kanga. A nice way to mark the end of the "g" year here at MY TAKE.

And a week past Sunday you saw the end of the "h" year, with it's mysteriously shortened days due to a mental aberration of the blogger last August. Now we are back at the official end of this blog's year and tomorrow we start again...

This spiral stair case is under the dome of Queen Victoria Building, Sydney city centre. The place was built in 1898 and was originally offices and market stores... now it is 'up market' with designer shops and galleries and eateries.

A banksia pod after bush fire.  Despite the recent trauma, it will shed seeds to the gound at its base. It's own ash will nourish them. Regeneration occurs.
