A Great Friend

It's not very often that a great friend comes along.  As you can imagine, moving to another continent and leaving everything  I know and love behind (family and friends) can be quite daunting, even though it is exciting.  But then, along came Lisa!
All I can say is that she is an angel in disguise!  So the other night I was sitting and thinking about how blessed I am to have met her and I made her a little card, (by the way, we see each other every day, go to gym together, shop together, do movies together, carry dinners over from one house to the other).  I just needed to say thank you for everything!

I love the shape of the card (Wonky Rectangle Nestabilitie). The Flourish is stamped with Antique Linen and I also inked the edges with the same ink.  The rose and petals are made with a solid and an outline stamp which allows you to use two different colours or shades of the same colour.  I then added some crystal stickles to parts of the petals.
