Swimming Laps (in Paris)

Sara and I swam "comeptitively"for about eight years or so (ok-I only lasted about 4),

 so this choice of venue brings back such vivid memories. 

For me, not neccessarily good, but memories nonetheless.

Yes, these are fields of tulips, and yes I came across them on weather.com.

(And then I forgot to check the forecast.) 

EGG

This was one of those stores in which I sweat, and fret 

over being too nervous to take  ask to take pictures*. 

Entering Egg, Maureen Douherty's (of Issey Miyake fame) shop in the Knightsbridge area of London, 

you immediately want to live the minimalist, quality driven lifestyle they convey (and sell).

 Within seconds I was worshipping the most beautiful and SIMPLE linen garments, woven scarves, basic white button downs and wanted it all. 300 pounds for a white shirt? No problem! (Who am I?!)

Everything from the the way the items are displayed by color and style on the walls and tables, the small staircase leading to more treasures upstairs, to the laid back manor of cute shopgirls; 

Egg is a place you don't want to leave.

Collections at the "Round Top" TX Flea

My favorite part of the "Round Top Flea" somewhere between Austin and Houston,

was the feeling I was walking on the set of some old western film. The antique show spans across open farm land (so dry, so hot and lots of grasshoppers!) and ghost-town like squares (pictured below). 

We truly were in the heart of Texas-it was so hot I could hardly carry my camera!
