Update on Bridge in Monet's Garden

Last night I finished page 13 of Bridge in Monet's Garden.  So here is a picture of my progress so far.

I am tired of stitching ornaments for right now so I have started White Willow Stitching Tribal Santa Hat.  It has been rough with all the frogging I have had to do and I can't find any DMC 817 anywhere.  I have been to AC Moore twice and they were all out then I went to JoAnn Fabrics and they didn't have any.  So I am going to try AC Moore again today.

Another Christmas Ornament finish

I just completed the finishing on this ornament.  This one will be for my sister.  Since I made her a bunch of ornaments for her birthday a few years ago she expects a new one every year now so this will be her 2012 ornament.

The Red Noel Ornament by Maryse Dupont of
Les grilles de Maryse
from Issue 34 November 2008 The Gift of Stitching
Fabric:  16 Ct white Aida
Floss: DMC
I think this will be the last ornament I stitch this year except for my Blueladie Designs monthly SAL.  I just counted and I have stitched and completed 34 ornaments in 2012.  I guess I have a right to be tired of them.  As my secondary project from Bridge in Monet's Garden I am going to start stitching White Willow Stitching's "Tribal Santa Hat".  It is really bigger than I want to do but I like the design.  This will be my first Tribal. I just have to pull the floss and I am set to start.

2 - 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 Christmas Ornaments

and a finish back from the framers.  I just finished up the last of 10 Christmas ornaments I stitched in the last month.  I mean finished them into ornaments.  I plan on giving these to the ladies from the gym in December.  I have finished stitching another ornament and have started finishing it but it takes so long for the glue to dry in this humid weather.  Maybe I will have time to finish it tomorrow and post a picture.

Ornament Tree decorated for Summer

In a previous post I was asked by Cathryn to post a picture of my ornament tree decorated for summer.  It is actually a combination of summer/patriotic.

This is my ornament decorated with PS Summer ornaments
and
SanMan Originals Patriotic ornaments
and
Blueladie Designs July SAL
and
a few red, white, and blue stars to fill in

Blueladie Designs July SAL

Blueladie Designs July SAL
Stitched on a mystery piece of Aida using
DMC floss
I just finished this a few minutes ago.  I have had it stitched for several days, I was just to lazy to get out the sewing machine to finish it into an ornament. It is now hanging on my ornament tree.  I didn't add the month name to this one as I can have it hanging on the tree all summer long.  Now I have the sewing machine up for about 10 minutes worth of work and will have to put it all away again.

Hummingbird, Wren, Woodpecker, and Baltimore Oriole

Just wanted to post a few pictures Bob has taken in the last couple of weeks.  We are still playing with our new camera.  Yesterday Bob took many pictures of a Baltimore Oriole in our trumpet vine.  We only see the Oriole for a few days about every other year so it is a great privilege to get some good picutures of him.  I like our new camera.

We had a wren family on our back porch and this is a picture

I finished stitching the 5th of 10 Christmas ornaments yesterday afternoon.  Today I worked on Blueladie Designs July SAL and am almost finished the stitching.  I just have to stitch the flagpole.  Maybe tomorrow after work I will start putting some of these ornaments together.  I would really like to finish up the July SAL so I can hang it on my ornament tree.

It is sohot here and is suppose to be this way through the next week.  90 and above every day.  Next Saturday the forecast is for 98.  We have been staying inside in the air conditioning.  Makes for good stitching days but I hate being shut in the house in the summertime.  Oh well I should be thankful we have A/C instead of complaining I don't like being shut in the house.  lol

OK enough of my dribble.  I just wanted to show off our birds.
