Polaris Slingshot

Once again my youngest son David in New Jersey has sent me photographs of a car that he's seen in a parking lot in his neighbourhood (neighborhood?) recently.
I've not heard of this vehicle before, but it's a Polaris Slingshot, a vehicle that the makers, Polaris Industries, claim is a three-wheeled motorcycle. Apparently it has a steering wheel and gear stick, and the brake, clutch and throttle pedal have a conventional automobile layout, which seems to make it most closely resemble the Morgan three-wheeled car.

Triumph TR6

Our youngest son David, who lives in New Jersey, sometimes sends me photographs of interesting cars he's spotted. Here's one he sent to me recently of a car he saw on a parking lot close to where he works.
It's a Triumph TR6, which has an inline 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2,498cc (or 150 cu in). For the US market the engine was carburetted, but for the British market and the rest of the world it was fitted with fuel injection. The car above is presumably the carburettor version,

Chevrolet Bel Air

Here's another photograph sent to me by our youngest son, David, from New Jersey.
It's a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air, which makes it a second generation car, somewhat modified if the air scoop on the hood is anything to go by.

Chevrolet Truck

A few weeks ago I showed a photograph of a 1962 Chrysler 300H which our son David had seen close to where he works in New Jersey, and here's another photograph he's sent to me which he took on another occasion at the same place.
It's a Chevrolet Truck from the late 1950s, possibly a 1958 Apache.

Chrysler 300H

This is a photograph sent to me by my youngest son, David, who took it close to where he works in New Jersey.
It's a 1962 Chrysler 300H, which you can read about here.
