Who doesn't want a little helper at work?
Mom and Dad went to a concert the other night- the theme was "America". They said it was lot a fun and enjoyed the music. The best part of the evening was when the orchestra was playing one of the pieces and the sheet music of a violin player fell to the floor. The violinist stood up, looked at the other musician he was sharing the stand with and walked off the stage in disgust. The violin player left on the stage looked at the music, picked it up, folded it back in order, shrugged his shoulders and resumed playing. Eventually the temper tantrum player returned to the stage and played again.
"Help you, help you?!" Gwen is often always found in the kitchen helping someone with a treat. Her favorites include popcorn and cookies, but she's willing to help with anything, especially if there's a reward. Today it was cleaning peanut butter off the spoon.
"Christmas Light Lane." We found this street a few nights ago and just fell in love with it. Every house is completely decked out and there are adorable parachuting Santa's all along the road.
Anybody up for a game of monkey in the middle?
"Mommy, I'm very very very cold", this little one was complaining about being cold on an 80℉ afternoon.
Gwen loves playing with our Christmas veggie tale nativity set. You can find her with the box out at least 2-3 times a day.
We found a deck of cards! This afternoon was filled with games of spoons, speed, war, and garbage.
Yesterday we went to a market in the middle of the city and the had this awesome Christmas tree made out of recycled plastic bottles
The family before our Church Christmas party. Maddy and I had gone earlier to set up and decorate, and then the whole family came later for the party. Unfortunately, Aubrey has been sick for a few days so she stayed home to rest. It was strange walking into a Christmas party with the sun shinning and the outdoor temps at 80 degrees.
Maddy and Marlo (church friend) spent some time working on their fireplace for the party
Maddy and I found out that we were actually singing at the party right before it started. We had time to run through it once and Maddy, Marlo, and Zoe bravely volunteered for solos. It was a pretty piece and we enjoyed singing it.
We all tried lychee fruit for the first time last night. Jo loved it, but everyone else wasn't a big fan. I thought it tasted like those little jelly balls you can put on your frozen yogurt....
Gwen and Daddy
Gwen's new friend- Cooper. He is the youngest of a family with 5 boys who all match up to our ages. Every time we tell her we're going somewhere she asks "Cooper going to be there?"
