I went outside today and basked in the sun. It felt nice, even though the temperature read 34 degrees with a wind chill of 24. Baby Jo even enjoyed herself, wrapped in the baby snow pants, puffy pick coat, hat and gloves. She could not move but she was warm. We have experienced some cabin fever this past week. Yesterday felt like Saturday and I wish today were April. Alas, I am trying to enjoy the extra inside time to accomplish a lot of nothing. Allowing the kids some extra t.v. time (1 movie a day), making valentine goodies to be consumed by me and playing cards games with the kids. All the while the snow falls and continues to fall and then will melt come spring into one giant river that hopefully will not take us away.
I ordered me garden seeds for spring this week. For now the garden is a dream, hoping to become reality by July.

This storm was full of wet, thick snow. So thanful our power has remained on. The fridge/food storage are full. We should be set for at least a few weeks, praying the roads don't take that long to clear!

Let's Celebrate
We postponed M & S birthday cake celebratin by a few days and bumped J birthday celebratin up by a few weeks. Enjoyed one massive birthday celebration with all our friends and family that were in town. M & S loved receiving their own scripture set. J was engrossed with...wrapping paper and boxes. Now that things have calmed down around here she has enjoyed her presents. Of course the cake was a hit with everyone involved.
Special Day
The fun and excitement continued...
M & S made the decision to be baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was such a special day. Rob and I were so grateful to all the family and friends that drove long distances to spend the day with our family. It was a neat experience watching my little girls make the choice that they did. They are such a great example to me of being member missionaries. They both invited many non-member friends and three of them were able to attend.
