It's been a while

It has been a while since I've blogged and I really need somewhere to write out my feelings.
Time now is 5.27am and I am wide awake listening to Broken by Sezairi Sezali.
Loads of shit happened this week. I think what I hate most about myself is the indecisiveness and the passive nature I have. Sometimes I wonder why can't I make up my mind about certain things? I should be more decisive and also more mindful for others :/ It looks like I have a longggggg 1 year to go.
The next 3 weeks are going to be hectic. I have YOG, studying for 5 modules from chap 1 to 12 and TBC preparations. All I pray for is smooth sailing ahead.
Dear God, Please give me the strength to continue living.
Back to school

Hy everyone! I hope you are had a great first week of school. hahaha
Anyways, first week of school for me has been kinda hectic yet slack. I had to attend to the Prestige Fair during the first 3 days of school and it was quite draining also helping Lewis out during the Glow party was fun yet tiring? It is because I didn't eat most of the time lol! During the first week of school, there is only lecture so my timetable was kinda free. hahaa.
Now is the start of week 2 and the tutorials have started. It also means that projects have started too ): Oh! Did I mention that Human Comm is boring? ):
Life has somehow returned back to normal but still I should exercise more because this year I'll be doing my NAPFA test -.- Also, I shall study hard this sem! I wanna pull my GPA up.
Anyways, It's getting quite late now so I'm going to hit the sack.
Qaiser out!
Back to reality

Hey peeps! Sorry for not blogging for a while because this past 2-3 weeks has been like a dream to me. It's because I've been having so much fun with the FOC people. Another FOC has just passed and I am glad to have kept the experiences that I learnt during this whole process.
Firstly, This year is a bit special to me because I was selected as a DH. I could remember as a freshie where the DH would interact with every group and I thought it must be cool to be a DH because you get to interact with a lot of people. At first, I thought being a DH would be a fun and easy experience but I was totally wrong! hahaha.
I would say that being a DH, I learnt that I need to be more logical in my thinking, be more aware on what is going on within the GLs, individual Sub-groups and the other houses as well and it takes up alot space in your mind. Also, I have learnt that we need to show a good example to the people around you and by encouraging people around you, work would get done more efficiently and effectively.
I am glad to say that I managed to work with 3 great leaders and I would say we managed to learn something from one another. Even though we may face some rough patches along the way, at the end of everything, we are still very very good friends and I would want to thank you guys for being patient with me and thank you for everything (:
During this past 3 months, I got close to 12 individuals from all walks of life. I had a very very bumpy start with them because I was seen as too fierce (hahaha!) but as time went on and we spent time with one another, we managed to bond and come up with original cheers. From my Jebuh-Jebuh! to Oh Africa!, I would say the cheers that they created would be remembered by the freshies. Some of the moments that I treasure with them were their jokes and laughter. I can recall everyone laughing till their stomach hurt and we would just enjoy ourselves...
Although when we were the first house to get bonded, we had troubles along the way and I hope we managed to solve them. All I want to say to them is that I am sorry if I was too harsh on you guys during these 3 months and the 12 of you has made lots of good memories for me. I just hope this bond wouldn't die off..
The most crazy and original group of FOC Olympus 2010/11! What can I say about them? Thank you very much for singing Happy Birthday to me during my birthday. Also, Thank you for letting be part of your groups during the 4 days and also during your sub-group outings.
I was very very happy whenever I see Hephaestus cheering because I know that all of you are having fun and that was what I wanted the house to do. I hope that the friendship you have made would last through your years in NP and also, do come back to help out in NPSU!
Everyone in the above photo made this camp a success and I would want to say thank you very much for putting in your best effort to make this year the BEST FOC I've been to :D
Finally, to the Camp Comm, we may not interact much but thank you for working hard to make this camp a success. Thank you for taking all the bullshit hahahaha. Also, Thank you for just being fn and loving people! :D
Ok.. I shall close this chapter of my life and look forward to the future. If not people will start asking why you keep talking about FOC. hahaha!
BAoc is tomorrow. I need to wake up at 6.30am. SIAN! I will blog soon promise!

I finally found some time in my hectic schedule to blog :D
This past month has been like a roller coaster ride? Loads of emotions involved from happy to sad, excitement to hurt but still every moment will be remember one way or another.I stayed at home the entire day because I was feeling very tired so I had to skip the hephaesrtus outing.. Sorry guys! :/ Anyways, as I was watching TV today, I suddenly started thinking (Yes, I do that a lot). A year is going to past since the previous FOC and I wondered what have I done during the past year.
Looking through the photos during this year's trial camp, I kinda miss being a GL.. The preparations, the bond made among other GLs, Memorizing cheers, Practicing for our Skit and looking after your sub-group with 2 other GLs and creating moments for them so that they would remember their very first camp in Ngee Ann. Don't get me wrong, I love being a DH too but the consequences that come with it is too much to bear when you make a small mistake. The so called "fair" judgement isnt what it sounds. I'm saying too much.I shall not say anymore because some people are just getting too paranoid and too stubborn & I do not want the people close to me get affected.
NPSU FOC 09/10. That was the camp where I knew these 3 individual. 1 of them I met during laptop sales and was coincidentaly my freshie during camp. I was happy that the 3 of them came back because they were the few that I remembered during last year's camp and now they are GLs and 1 of them under me. I wished all 3 of them were under me again. Good times.. The best part? This year's FOC is exactly 1 year since I have met them. It comes a full circle doesn't it?
The amount of freshies that came back as GLs from Horus. Every single one of them enjoyed themselves during FOC thats why they came back so that they can share the joy that they had during the camp and hopefully get their freshies to come back to help out in SU. Advice to the GLs, always put a smile on your face, NEVER ever give up on the group and always put your freshies first.Hmm.. This year will be the 2nd time I will be spending my birthday in camp. Last year was memorable and this year will be memorable too because I am spending it as a DH and I will be with the people I have been spending loads of time with during this past month. I just hope that Suren wouldnt do anything stupid -.-Ok, this post isn't emo or something but It just came to my mind. hahaha. Booking in on Monday! I cant wait for FOC because it is going to be a whole new experience :D To everyone involved in FOC, rest well and eat more vitamin C

Hey peeps!I know I haven't been blogging that much because I have been focusing more on my exams and also I am just very tired this month. My last paper is on friday so I will have more time to blog afterwards :DToday's highlight!Today's most memorable incident would definitely be when Andrea and I were queueing up to deposit my cash at a DBS bank. There were 2 queues and apparently, there was this China guy (I could tell due to his strong accent) who had a HUGE stack of $10 notes and he was holding up the line for around half an hour and everyone in that line was getting frustrated. So there was a huge scene in the bank. There was a Chinese S'porean who went up to him and the 2 started arguing. Also, There was a lady who was behind the chinese guy and she said this:
"This man has been here for half an hour and his wife was in another line for half an hour also, I have been waiting for 1 hour" When I heard this, I was laughing because it was impossible to wait in line to wait for 1 hour when the guy in front of her was there for half an hour -.-Meanwhile as this was happening, there were 2 CERTIS CISCO officers behind us. 1 of them was having PMS. Like TTM. There was this auntie who suddenly just stand in front of him and this is how the conversation went.Guy: Excuse me, you know there is a queue right? (In an angry tone)Auntie: Huh? No la, I only want to Kaypoh la. I want to see what is happening only <-- (WTF?! TYPICAL S'POREAN AUNTIE! -.-)Guy: Oh ok then please stand asideOk so basically, Andrea and I just witness the bad side of Singapore. It is funny in a way but yet kinda sad because there are still inconsiderate people (Even though that guy wasn't Singaporean). Ok, basically, the kapypoh auntie made my day because it was just funnyAnyways, I'm going back to studying. Peace! He He Hephaestus! is love
I survived the Urbanathlon!

Bascially took the first train and just warmed-up before the race. I went to the front so I could get a good start. It helps mentally :D
I was in the 1st Wave (50 participants per wave) and we set off at 7.30. There was a slight confusion during the underpass towards the Esplanade. The guys from the 1st Wave ended up at the Esplanade carpark and it took us 15 seconds to realise it was the wrong way -.-
So, we turned back and continued the race. Overall, the race was superb! I thought the physical part of the challenges would be the hardest but it was the running that drained most of the energy x_x
I wanted to complete the race within 1hr 30mins and I managed to complete it in 1hr 29mins! LOL!I still met my goal! :D
At the finish line, took my medal, some refreshments and took a photo! :D

This is how I looked like after the race. I'm dirty because the last part of the race, we had to crawl in mud (Y)

I bumped into Dray during and after the race so we took a photo together. I am clean because I finished earlier and washed up. heehee :D
I survived! haha. This is the route we had to go through (:After the race, ate Macs for breakfast then took MRT home with Dray then rested at home for a while. Left the house at 1.30 with Lionel to head for Spiritus training. Played well today :D (Y) But I had to be sub out in the last 10 mins of the game because of the cramp I had on my left hamstring and right thigh. Looks like I overexert my muscles today. lol.
Exams are coming so best of luck to everyone! Study hard and Play harder after the exams :D
