What has happened to our world?

If you flipped today's papers, the same thought would probably have hit you straight. A japanese woman actually got jailed just for killing her maplestory husband's character. JAILED, just for an online death in a game. Why is it that people can do so much for things that don't last and easily ignore the going-ons of the world?

What happened to the severity of global warming, famine and disease? Yes, the stockmarkets are crashing and more people are getting poorer in real terms by the day. But this doesn't leave us anywhere near subsistent living. Is it really THAT hard to carry out the social responsibilities of a human being?

Still, all this ranting goes nowhere. What can one person do?

Many things have been happening all around at one ulu ulu corner of our little red island.

The trainings have begun and the intensity can be felt from our sore bodies and pained movements. Still, the jokes have been coming in strong. We have Daniel with his hilarious antics and wise-ass quotes about army life. Feels like the bonding is slowly getting stronger. Seems like the PSP is really an essential item with the current number of consoles at 7. Haha. Peer pressure peer pressure!

Friday was a killer, but it gave the greatest sense of achievement. At 10.08min, i failed my SOC after weeks and weeks of lazing around. Luckily we were still allowed to go for our mini run at ECP. 8km passed by faster than the 45mins we took. The run with JA, SM Daniel and Fab really felt like a sight-seeing run lol. Xiong but edifying! Next up at night was the reunion of WIS with Alvin being MIA. HAHA. Ran and ran and ran and it really brought back those days when we were young and free, even for a moment. Haha. Dinner-ed at AMK with girlf joining us.

Steamboat to celebrate minting's birthday with the youth yesterday. Will upload photos when i get em.

In the blink of an eye, the 2B course has ended. The long-awaited conclusion came with a BANG, literally. Yes, I crashed.

The morning was uneventful but pretty welfare. Reporting time was 0745 and we all made full use of that. Cleaned up the bikes after that. Got all wet and dirrrty. Hehs. Here was where all those slackers exhibited their eye-power again.

The ride to westcoast came after lunch. What was meant to be a nice, memorable memory for me to end this course turned out to be way more than what i asked for. The last ride saw me crashing into J's left handlegrip and i flew. Spun about 3 times forward, seeing land/sky/land/sky/land/sky. I thought i was done for. But at that moment, time just crawled and i wondered to myself "so this is how a vehicle accident actually feels like". It was more of fascination than fear. Man. I'm weird. Felt bad la. J seemed so bothered by it for the rest of the day.

Hopfully the wounds and bruises recover really fast so i can get back to training and guess what?

I GOT MY LISCENSE!

Morning, afternoon and night seemed so segregated by the moods at the various points in time.

Had to report all the way to kakibukit just for a measly 2 hours of pillion riding. Thankfully my parents agreed to gimme a much-needed lift. Paired up with JA for the riding. After learning the postures and taking in the tips given, we kickstarted the lesson. Felt gay at first cause we had to hold the rider's abdomen so closely and position our below so near to the tavern. Yup. But things got fun when we started speeding across the circuit, making sharp turns and leaning so closely to the ground.

The rain didn't make it impossible to attend the o619 outing in the afternoon. I was late, but better late than never right? Turned out pretty well i guess. Carl's junior was the place to satiate the tastebuds and do a bit of catching up. Funny how though everyone seems to have gone their own ways yet there's this sense of together-ness and familiarity. Yup. Hit the arcade after that. There was this unglam shooting game that's damn engaging and ZY said he played it in m'sia before. Maybe i'll try it again soon. We had an hour of pool following that. Quite alright where we all took the chance to brush up our skills lol.

Somethings can be explained and you will either accept them/ignore them/sneer at them. There's nothing against my conscience but i do feel bad that it's come to this. When things are repeated repeatedly, it gets tiring. When white is white, why argue that it's grey?

offcourse.
