Here i am, back hacking away at the cobwebs that have gathered over my hiatus.

As usual, work's taking up too much time and the rest is tightly rationed between baby, youth and all. It's been a hectic and trying period of time as problems materialised time and again. Deadlines have never been more stressful since the As and time spent together can never be too much.

Call it telepathy or chance or coincidence but i guess i'm down with what she is. Fever, sore throat and headaches. At least there are angels at the bank. Random people who never fail to say HI or just starting random chats just to spice up the day. GL has been only too nice, being patient to me as i learnt from her and fabulous while allowing me to work at my pace, never reprimanding me or chiding me. Baby's having a harsh time and whatever comes next, i pray it'll be for the better. (:

Strange that i'm making a start in both maple and DOTA. Overage, but, ah heck la! Only one more year of being a teenager. D GRAY MAN'S also getting more and more addictive with the climax drawing closer!

So many things, so little time.

Everyone's just been great, including all at home and esp BABY! ((:

Things just came, one after another. Didn't get the chance to blog amid the whirlpool of events that sucked up my time.

So the eagerly awaited V-DAY came and as usual, tradition was adhered to and we quarreled... and made up. Sucha funny relationship. Trivial issues(and sometimes BIG) kept finding their way between us but somehow we managed to kick them all out of our way. A simple celebration but i hope the words, gifts and actions exchanged were all appreciated, every single bit. The cards, boxers, meal and company. Time was jealous and just whizzed by without us knowing it.

CNY came and is going out the door soon. Again, routines metamorphosized to living events which were given meaning all of a sudden. Relationships and ties couldn't emphasize their importance more. Some resolutions were made and hopefully, they can all be kept. Gonna work towards forging strong ties with both the fatone&jeff. A quiet but enlightening CNY. Rather than solely looking forward to collecting the cash that comes along with the ANGPAOS, the bonds between families should take the frontseat.

Lunch with almost the entire department @ East Ocean today. Food was good, given their prices and the best thing was, we spent nearly 3 hours on lunch! WOOTS. Hehs. Cross table talks were sooo heartwarming. It felt as if everyone were equals and for those precious moments, there were no bosses, superiors or small frys. The horizontal talks, small talks, gossips and all... Perhaps if working life is like this in future, maybe it ain't so bad after all.

Results, chalet, degree, cash, SHOPPING!

Firsts for many things, never thought that they'll all come together on one day to blow me off TOTALLY. ((:

Birthday wishes from so many buddies and friends once the clock struck midnight. Baby struck gold with the first sms. SILLY luh. Waited till it was exactly 1200am before sending though we were already on the phone. Messages came, each never failing to bring a smile to my face. Perhaps this was a sign, hinting at greater things to come.

Baby was cheeky today. Made plans for today sound messy to confuse me. Caught Ah Long Private Limited which was hilarious. I wonder why those movie critics are like under-rating these new movies (Kungfu Dunk & ALPL). The movie definitely didn't deserve the pathetic few stars they were awarded in Today newspaper. So we walked round and round PS till she finally brought me over to Fish & Co @ Glass House.

SURPRISE! Al chun cheng lin nic evon jing were there on the second floor. Seeing them there smiling with those sheepish smiles just made me smile without noticing it. It was serously heartwarming, seeing all these faces together, even though we're all out of college. That feeling was just undescribable. Pity that lin and nic had to go but having them come all the way just to send their birthday wishes just touches the heart man. Love you guys! Dinner was great, company was better. Standing on the chair with sparklers and wearing an ugly hat and having my birthday song sung out was just memorable. It's these things that make happy memories.

Cake was swweeeeet! So were the presents, ky's private stash, evon jing's car sign with words of wisdom, everybody's Adidas wind breaker and of course, their presence. (((:

A birthday like no others, you guys made the difference.

Hell is there to let people know how awesome heaven is. Never a better illustration than the two events which TOTALLY ruined my lunch-ing mood.

SPOILER 1
Was at HongLim food center with Dad for lunch. Mood was pretty alright and weather, fine. The sleep deprivation and monotony at pre-lunch work wasn't just enough to get me down. Since there were only 2 of us, we left newspapers on 2 seats and headed off to order food. It wasn't long when 2 sloppy looking societal rejects appeared with their food. Since only 1 person was at the table which could sit 6, these retards happily sat on one of the seats with our papers on it. How blind can they get? It wasn't a small packet of tissue paper but a damned stack of newspapers. This really put me off. Dad didn't have to prompt me to wakl to them to give a super fake smile and signal that our papers were being squashed by BLINDF**K #1. Fantastic manners. Just leaned his filthy butt over to the other side to let me remove the papers myself. How considerate is that? Especially when i saw him looking and noticing the papers before sitting on them. C'mon! You expect this to hawker centre be some sort of restaurant where you have seat covers? Stop dreaming. Luckily their rugged and soiled shirts revealed their workplace, a government wing. Their conversation only revealed that they were from some other ASEAN country, definitely far below Singapore, be it in terms of literacy, sight, mannerisms and intelligence. Worse than dogs or sows.
Someone call SPCA for culling.
SPOILER 2
After getting my mood trampled all over, i thought the worst was over. Who knew that on our way to check out the New Year stalls in Chinatown, we would come across a female version of those two sloths?
The passageway was narrow. Having stalls on both sides didn't exactly made walking any easier. There was this aged woman in front, somewhat causing a mini congestion as she was having difficulty walking. Foul in a mood i was, i just waited till there was an opening before inching my way forward past her, making sure that i didn't bang into her or anything. It didn't look like she could take a fall. So another mature woman followed me and as she passed by the old granny, she TSK-ed and gave a super irritated expression. Seriously. Do these people ever stop to think? Do they really think that they have the elixer of youth and never get old? "Do unto others what you would have them do unto you". Can't they comprehend such a simple saying?
I'm no saint. I allowed negative emotions get the better of me. Still, even a cynic like myself puts them to shame. It's just a matter of whether they see it.
Ignorant of the entire hoo-ha, baby still made the effort to comfort. That's just what makes the world go so roundly. ((:
