MarsvsVenus ended yesterday. Great show with nice quotes man. The best thing i took away from yesterday's episode is this:

How true. Guess it applies to all relationships :)

Woke up pretty early this morning to study a bit before heading to school for the final SPA for chem. The previous time i tried a timed practice, i barely finished 3/4 of the paper so i guess today was quite a bit of an achievement. Something felt missing today.

Went out for lunch with lin and nic. Macs was the first choice but we got tired of waiting and headed to ps for some highly recommended sweet&sour pork rice. Spent loads of time there FEEDING ourselves and walking around. Saw samantha and her new boyfriend. Dropped by THEBODYSHOP twice to sniff out the fruity smell which nic and me were attracted to lol. We agreed that we would be willing to follow a stranger around just to enjoy the fragrance if he/she had that smell. Pretty lame but yeah. Revitalising!

As we decided to leave, we were captivated by some ultraman show and stood there watching for like, 20minutes. It was not really sightly to have 3 MACHO nyjc guys outside some video store watching some show meant for kids but who cares? It was time to rediscover the child in us again! Haiz.. The journey home was anti-climatical and didn't get to go for high tea with dad in town.

I'm sosososososososo BORED.

It's the Interhouse Table Tennis Open tmr. Kinda hyped up about it even though we don't have any school or ex-school team players on our team. Had a pretty good time practising the past few days. Learnt new stuff like psycho attacks (courtesy of bestfriend) and playing doubles. Not as simple as it seems man. Hopefully we don't end up getting thrashed :)

OKAY. Back to life on the whole. Thanks to al and some close friends, i have finally gotten myself to think seriously about STUFF and yeah. Thought long and hard and the eventual conclusion came pretty naturally. Hopefully it's best for all. At this point in time, it probably won't be that easy but i guess it would get better with time. Thanks to all who took the time to listen to this bored kid's whinings.

I shouldn't speak of this actually. Words can hurt like hell but even as i know things will probably never revert to the way they were in the past, i cherish those times. I'm really very sorry. I've been sensing the effort the past few days but something inside of me just resists the urge to try to do anything about it. We're all victims of circumstances. Hopefully this new change won't be that hard to adapt to. Sorry isn't enough to sum up how i feel inside but it's the closest word there is.

Now, time to catch some HK drama on ch55 then DEAL OR NO DEAL later on. A little anti-climax but yeah.

Monotonous morning. Did almost nothing before we left the house for the weekly family breakfast cum lunch.

Headed to toa payoh again after that. Had to get new supplies of lenses. The time for the fat one to get a pair of specs finally came. To me, i think he's getting it for the sake of getting it rather than anything else. Oh well. Went to Popular to restock stationery and while paying, i heard some people calling out to me.

Guess what? It was yuhui and canggih! LoLs. The buddies i got to know during the first three months. Unforgettable times. We did things together. Things normal friends don't normally do. Other than al, they were like my only clique during those times. Those were the days man. In fact, it was funny how we all started talking to each other. If memory serves me right, we were like asking for each other's names half-naked while changing after getting drenched during dragonboat on Finalé Night.

We caught up abit on old times and updated each other on the latest happenings. At that moment, it felt as if the one year plus gap where we haven met a single time didn't exist at all la! Agreed to have dinner and some "after dinner entertainment" at yuhui's place. Left hurriedly cause my parents were in a rush.

Contentment.

In a nutshell, this week ended on a pretty good note.

Fri:
Played some ping pong after school with guys from 0619, evon and wj. Seeing how untouchable they were at the other table(with that lil tiny ball zipping back and forth), we had to find some sort of handicap against them. In the end, they played with their left hands. Looked pretty weird and stiff but they still OWNED. LoLs! Prides were at stake and the glory of all-boys was not trampled on. Hahaha... Something stirred deep down.

Sat:
Reached school a lil too early for College Day and went around chatting. Let out some steam and got a better view of my surroundings. Barely alive after everything and went for lunch. Bought this really weird and slightly costly chinese canned drink. It's like some medicine la! Hahha... Forced lin to help finish some and rushed back to school but not before evon did some cheeky stuff.

Forced to have our Debates ExCo selection with only 3 juniors. Tried to be as strict as could be. Saw the potential but BC and i agreed that they were not ready for 100% power at this moment. Headed to TP to clear some tutorials after that.

Met cheng and jackie at ps at around 6pm. Though it wasn't easy we MADE IT to NAFA CAMPUS 3!! Hell YEAH! Waited for al's mum and sis, then angela. We had pretty good seats, thanks to al's mum. Six dances in total but i could only comprehend half of them at most. Oh yeah. I think "Pure Sentiments" had like, the fewest errors and ended the night off with a great note.

Random events during the week were the icing to the cake.

In the not too distant past, i felt exactly the same way some people feel now. Then, i thought that it was only expected from a comrade to do what i did. Things didn't turn out that well, it seemed to be the world against us but that didn't matter. At that time, all that mattered was to DO THE RIGHT THING.

Looking back, perhaps the repercussions of that very incident are still very much alive. They have manifested themselves in ways which are heart wrenching. Even as hope is almost worn out, the past cannot be disregarded totally.

On the whole, yesterday was a pretty good day. Some work was done and i actually went for Youth again.

Even though it was difficult deciding if i should go to church or go somewhere else, i'm glad that i made the right choice. There was still some hint of apprehension and hesitation as i entered the gates. A simple glimpse at my phone told me i was already 30 minutes late. Seeing the familiar faces did help. And Donny's sermon woke me up to some stuff. I WAS really missing out on a lot.

Floorball was OK, with the exception of getting mildly injured after so many years. Some people just enjoy playing recklessly. Having been accustomed to it, they might think that it's normal to play like that. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple glimpse at what is happening around and it won't take too much brains to figure out if you're doing something wrong. Having said that, i noticed a trend in canines while huffing and puffing but nvm.

Things are getting back on track. At least i feel some stress now.

Sometimes, it gets pretty difficult trying to figure out if a smile is as simple as it seems.

Reaching home kinda late these days. Maybe its time to make good my word and study. Lagging behind but not exactly impossible to catch up. So many events unfolding around me that it gets a little hard to think straight at times.

Tomorrow is the Interhouse Debate Competition but guess what? We have only two interested houses out of 4. It's sad. Maybe we should start making some clarifications and show everyone that maybe NYDS aint as elitist as most perceive it to be. Slackest job as time-keeper.

Everyone has their own secrets to keep. With that comes a term called imperfect information. There are a thousand and one reasons for this natural occurance but somehow, we've grown accustomed to hate this feeling of not knowing things. If we take a closer look, maybe it aint all that bad. If there came a day where we knew of everything, there would be almost no surprises anymore. Perhaps life would be nothing more than day after day of monotony.

This week kinda sucked. Completed tutorials were in low supply and the demand was pretty high. Waiting for the end of the week to take a breather. Hate the times when i can't even sit down to do some work. Mid years exam is coming soon but again, nothing much is done.

Everyone around me seems to be falling ill recently. All the sick ppl out there- TAKE CARE and be sure to drop by your neighbourhood's clinic for medication soon!

The eyes can only see so much.

IT'S A HOLIDAY TODAY!!! Though i don't know what day it is, i'd still welcome a holiday.

Yesterday wasn't that bad. School was slow moving but at least it ended. Chatted with al in the canteen until we both laughed like the no-life punks you see at macs. Hardly a fitting description but yeah. We crapped about almost everything, no limits. LOLs. Then we waited till KY came along with CH. The atmosphere seemed a little weird initially but at least we finally spoke for a bit before heading for the pull-up bars where al displayed his prowess. Played a bit of ball after the coast was clear. Like al, i think my patience is running at an all-time low. Anyways. we had a great time playing and the girls joined us after that.

Gonna try to finish up some super overdue tutorials today. Better late than never.

The worst thing about getting poisoned is not how it hurts when you're first infected but how painful it is after it spreads.
