So it´s election time in Finland. In many ways this election is different from ones before.. I think it´s gotten insanely personal and very ugly. I´ve never seen people so aggressive before.. For some reason this time people think they´re allowed to criticize peoples personal believes and choices. I think people have really forgotten what it´s all about. Even the candidates have been reminding their supporters to keep things civil. It´s become more of a gay vs. young wife election..
Both candidates are without a doubt qualified for the job. They just have very different vibes and personalities. Sauli Niinistö has a lot of experience in finance whereas Pekka Haavisto has been dealing with crisis abroad.
