When we moved into our home two years ago, we painted every room in the house except for Savannah's room and what was then the "guest bedroom". Now, that both rooms have full-time occupants in them, we decided to finally get around to painting them. We did Benjamin's room first because we want to do bead board in Savannah's room and we have to find a truck to haul it here. I give Holly the COMPLETE credit for this idea. She just did the same thing in her kids' room except with yellow stripes instead of green. I really like it...hopefully Benjamin will too!!

So cute! I am impressed! That looks like a lot of work. Maybe I am just lazy! We have yet to do much painting in our house. We did paint the half bath, but it isn't decorated at all, so it looks really bare. I miss you! You should log on to messenger so we can chat!
What a cute idea...and Benjamin looks like he is enjoying it...
I love the big stripes. And the color choice. I want to paint the walls in our Yuma home, but Chris isn't really for it. He believes in accent colors instead of paint. Maybe it's the time he spent as a painter at the beginning of our marriage. Good job!
Great job!
I like the color choices!
Do you want to come and paint our house? How did you get such great stripes?
The stripes were a team effort really. Like I said, we got the idea from Holly but here's how we did it. We painted a coat of the lighter paint over the entire room. Then Tom drew light pencil lines with the help of a level and I taped it off. Then, voila!!! I'm happy with how it turned out. Oh and AMY, tell Chris one of the BEST/easiest/inexpensive ways to freshen up a room/home is by painting. You can ALWAYS change it if you don't like it!!
i love it! it turned out so great!..yay for holly's good ideas! haha..the colors look awesome too!
