We loved 10,000 B.C.

Tonight my wonderful mom and dad had the kids sleep over. They do this quite a lot, the kids love it and my parents know to take advantage of it while they can. Anyway, it gave Steve and I a chance to go on a date. Yeahh!!!! We decided to go see "10,000 B.C. It was so good, and I usually only like romantic comedies. It was so intense, I could just feel my blood pressure going up. It made me so grateful to live now and not back then. I can't believe that kind of life ever happened. Scary. It's a must see! Let me know what you think!

It looks way to scary for me! I think I would have bad dreams! I am such a baby when it comes to movies. I still can't watch E.T. which severely tramatized me back when I was 7! The last scary movie I saw was What Lies Beneath and I am still not totally healed!

I probally won't see it until it comes out on DVD. We are a little behind on the movie business. My parents had my girls this weekend too! Isn't it the best!

way to go and get out. Parents are the best babysitters! I wish I were closer to mine. I have learned however that I need a date night, adn we don't do it all the time, but at least a few times a month we get a babysitter and hit the town, even if it is grocery shopping and dinner, it is nice to get out without kids. We'll ahve to add 10,000 bc to the movie list. WE went to Vantage point on saturday night for our anniversary, and it was good too. a different movie layout, but it was entertaining.
It seems like after you get a little break you can be a better mom. At least I feel that way! And you get that always important hubby lovey time! way to go!

I wish I had my mom and dad to take my kids for the night!!! I am soooo jealous! I will also have to wait until the DVD. We just bought the Bee Movie so that's how up to date we are on the theater scene.

I liked this movie..although I think the previews made it seem different than it was..anyway..our Daughter wanted to see this for her birthday..and we took both sides of our extended family with us..and when the movie was all over..my Dad says "we watched that whole thing just to find out where farmers came from"?! HAHA :)
