Paper Issues: Product Spotlight: Dear Lizzy - Saturday

Hi Happy Arty Days Friends!

Today the Paper Issues team are putting the spotlight on the gorgeous

With such a variety of patterned papers in this collection, I wanted to showcase the softer side of Saturday,
so my first page with this collection is a delicate, pretty, little number....

'A life filled with Magic'

Isn't this just SO preeeeeeetty?!!
Perfect for my sweet girl!
I've used the patterned paper Central Park as a pennant to mount my photo to - I just adore the tiny blooms!

I've also used the patterned paper, Big Apple, and cut apart some journal cards to layer beneath my photo and pennant. You'll also spy those fabulous Black Varnish Phrase Stickers - I couldn't resist using one as my title!

Time to talk about that decorated wooden peg - OMGoodness does it get any cuter?!!
They're the Saturday Icons Clothepins & trust me when I say, they're all super cute and you NEED them ;)
I may have bought 2 pkts of these stunners (One for scrapbooking & one for planning!)

To add a few more floral touches to my page, I fussy cut the paper, Uptown and also used a floral Rubber Shape too! Awesome.

And there you have it!
Dear Lizzy Saturday - a delicate approach!!!

I hope you feel inspired by my page!

Make A Wish & Take Me Away with Imaginarium Designs

Hi Everyone!

Time for another monthly dose of Imaginarium Designs chipboard inspiration!
I've got a couple of gorgeous, bright and colourful layouts to share - including another of my boy/girl double pages - so let's get straight to it!

First up, I am using the new Cocoa Vanilla Studio: Make A Wish collection
to show off some fabulous chippie phrases and shapes....

Isn't this stunning?!!
A really cool double pager that also works as two single layouts!
I've used a few of my fave phrases as well as some hearts & stars to embellish with.
Bright, playful pops of colour and  a real fresh, modern & contemporary feel. Love it!
Let's look at each layout separately.....

"You Smile With Your Heart"

So pretty!!! Girly and feminine without being too cutesy now (she's growing up!) LOL!
I've used Versa Ink in (the very hot) Opera Pink to really make my title pop.
NOTE: I use this brand of ink a lot as it gives real depth of colour  - even if I don't apply a coat of gesso to my chipboard before applying.
I love how this colour, and chippie phrase, dictate the tone and feel of the page!
Here's a closer look at that stunning phrase...

So exquisitely cut!
And how about those super cute hearts.....

Perfect for an embellishment cluster, or as an alternative sequin/enamel dot scatter!

The lower heart has been inked with Petal Pink to balance out all the hot pink and add a little interest. Very sweet, indeed!
A pretty embellishment for any gorgeously girly creation!

Enough of the girl talk - let's take a look at my boy version of this layout.....

"Wild At Heart"

Could he get any cooler?!! Such a rad little guy!
This time I've used Versa Ink: Sea Foam for my title, subtitle and most of the stars. The remaining stars are inked in Saffron Yellow. I love the solid, matte finish the ink provides!
Let's take a closer look.....

How awesome is my subtitle, "Happy"?! Perfect for my subject & I must mention my layered star!
I love the look of layering your chipboard and ephemera together. I've mounted mine too, to really stand out and draw you into my photo.
In the image below, I've mounted a smaller star onto a larger one to create a cool embellishment.....

But it's my title that is totally awesome....

Wild At Heart - he sure is!
Seriously though, another awesome phrase that's cut to perfection!
Love it!

Imaginarium Designs Products:

My last layout for today is another gorgeously bright and happy page created with the new
Pink Paislee: Paige Evans: Take Me Away collection,

"Little Things Big Memories"

Love this! It just screams fun!!!
And truly, sometimes the littlest moments leave the biggest imprints on us - this phrase sums it up to a tea!
I've drawn on the very bright & colourful patterned paper to inspire my chipboard treatment.
Bold, fun and happy!!!
Let's take a closer look.....

I love the use of multiple fonts in this phrase - it makes it really versatile to use!
(& yes, it's hot Opera Pink again!)

The hearts are just the cutest little finishing touch embellishment...

SO sweet!!!

How cute is the heart decorated with a lil button?! Love!!!
