Happy Wednesday friends! As I was blog surfing this morning I came across an interesting challenge on the Our Daily Bread Designs blog. This one was called embedded embossing. You get all of your layers (including the punches or diecuts) all together and then run it through an embossing folder all at once. I had quite a few layers for this card so it took a little muscle to get it through my Big Shot! I used a SU! embossing folder and it's a bit hard to see on the patterned paper but I love the way this technique looks! All of my DP is from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop collection and my verse is from the set Jesus by ODBD.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
ink: memento rich cocoa (Tsukineko)
paper: very vanilla, riding hood red (SU!); Thrift Shop DP (October Afternoon)
accessories: border punch (Martha Stewart); circle nestabilities (Spellbinders); silk ribbon (Creative Impressions); heart punches, embossing folder (SU!)
