Boots & Pine
This selection of photos was taken over the summer by fellow Canadian, Arden Wray. I'm a big fan of Arden's shadowy portraiture and follow with enthusiasm the collection of portraits and interviews with her neighbours in Brooklyn, The Catskills and Toronto on Boots & Pine.

The Selby
A few months ago Todd Selby popped in for a second go round our apartment (though this time without the urban outfitter's staging). The pictures are sweet but served as a reminder that it is time to downsize our collections, or rather my collections, of random odds and ends. Since this photo series was released I've rearranged my living room, dresser top and bookshelf. The dolls have been hidden from Pippin (enthusiastic eater of doll hairs) and the out of season lighting has come down. Trying to de-clutter a tiny New York apartment when so much of the clutter has followed me from childhood has been challenging! I have determined in coming months to build an armoire in which I can toss my mountainous pile of dresses, hats, things with eyeballs and shoes, heh, we shall see. It's been four years now in this apartment and it's starting to feel awfully small and Hudson is smiling a great big pearly white smile and summoning with a crooked finger.

tea with Bobo
We've been pretty neglectful of our camera collection since the new year began. Landon is busy daily in studio and I've split my days procrastinating by cleaning every closet, cupboard and nook and cranny in the house and working on the new collection. These are the handful of shots we've managed to squeak out with our Contax over the past few months. Scenes from around the house and the neighbourhood.

New York Nests
I always enjoy seeing our home through the eyes of other people, especially when those other people are as skilled with a camera as my friend, Agnes Thor. This Tuesday Agnes and Katarina stopped by early morning and sat down with us to talk about our home and all the eyeballed objects within it. You can read the interview and see a bit more on the Elle Interior site here!
All photos by Agnes Thor.
