Just a quick one today: to bussy to blog right now...I have to many things going on and somethings are very demanding indeed!
- still working on the preparation of my new workshop in March in Biberauch, Germany
- both of my parents are beeing operated this month, dad already is in hospital, mum will be end of this month ( they dont live together so they do have their own partners to look after them!)
- on Sunday I will have a little show at my studio, showing my jewellry and hoping to sell some
- more visists at my in laws, friends coming over to stay with us, seeing friends....
- fighting with my migraine again
- working on the website for my hubby´s office
- writing a ton of articles for a friend, for the new "Just Stamps"
- trying to keep on top of my kids school cores and helping them, they both have a difficult year right now!
- Christmas is just around the corner....help!!! Nothing organizes so far!!

I probably forgot a ton of other things, too, but these are the most important ones right now, so please bare with me and I will be back to blogging as soon as I can...;-)

heute nachmittag mußte ich mal was anderes machen: zusammen mit meiner 9-jährigen Tochter habe ich mich mal an Miniaturen versucht...;-) Mein Kaffee und Kuchen Set.

This afternoon I had to do something different: together with my 9-year old daugher we tried ourselfes at making Polymer clay miniatures...;-) My set.

I got myself a new tool....finally! It was about high time! I have been holding myself back from buying it much too long: a stand for my drill. makes live so much easier when you are making beads!
Endlich habe ich mir ein neues Werkzeug gegönt: einen Bohrständer !!! Ich hab mir das schon viel zu lange verkniffen und nun mußte es endlich sein. Und es hat sich gelohnt!!! Es ist so viel einfacher die perlen vernünftig zu lochen wenn man das richtige Werkzeug hat!

And one of my new creation: Red Dragon! I plan on make more similar pieces of jewellry in a Mah Jong Series. This is the first one...;-)

Und hier noch ein neues Schmuckstück: Roter Drache! Ich möchte daraus eine Serie mit ähnlichen Stücken in einer Mah Jong Serie machen. Das ist das erste Stück diese Serie...;-)

I am not feeling to well at the moment...trying to find my peace...will be back as soon as I can!

Momentan gehts mir nicht so besonders....versuche meinen Frieden zu finden...bin bald zurück!

...long time no blogging!

....much to long actually!!! We have been back from France for 10 days already, but I have been playing catch up since then... no time for blogging! But I will not do that anymore...I promise!

Ewig hab ich schon nicht mehr geblogged! Viel zu lange, denn seit 10 Tagen sind wir schon wieder aus Frankreich zurück, aber hier hat sich so viel angesammelt, das ich einfach keine Zeit hatte, schon gar nicht zum bloggen! Aber ich verspreche mich zu bessern!

We had a great time on our holidays, everything was different than planed ( our friends had been called home because there were some serious family problems ;-((( ), but it was wonderful never the less. But some things I missed!!! I love French Bread, BUT the first thing I made on coming home was bake my own:

Wir haden wunderbare Ferien, alles war anders alls geplant ( unsere Freund mußte wegen Familiären Problemen dringen nach Hause ;-(((( ), aber wir hatten eine großartige Zeit, trotz allem. Aber es gab auch Dinge die ich vermissed habe! I liebe französiches Brot, ABER als ich nach Hause gekommen bin, mußte ich trotzdem sofort ein eigenes Brot backen:

I have been tagged by Niki!!! Thank you for this award, Niki....;-) And here are the rules for playing along:

Okay so here is my part:

1.The first one is Niki , who gave me this award and tagged me..;-) She is a friend from the Frances Meyer design Team. I have meet her in real live, too, when she came to Berlin with her wonderful son and husband.
We had a crazy time and a lot of unexpected things happened. We both moved just reacently to diverent locations and so we are kind of in the same boat again...;-)

2. Another one of my far away friends is Brigitte. She lives in Canada and i also have meet her in real live, when she came to Berlin. She does awesome calicraphy and she is always encouraging me to keep going with my art work...thank you for that!!!

3. Birgit lives in the Netherlands, so its quite close. She is one of my steady blog readers and I like to thank her for that!!! I like her work very much and she is a constant source of inspiration for me...;-)

4.Nat lives in Germany and she is another source of constant inspiration for me. She is very funny and very experimental ... and just how cool is that??? So another one on my list for sure...;-)

5. okay and finally we have a new addition to my blogging friends list: Karin .... she commented on my blog and I had a look at here blog, and I must say I really like it!!! She lives in Sweden and I have a soft spot for nordic design and crafts anyhow .... and how could I not?? Since my mother named me "Anke" after a girl she meet in Sweden...;-)

(I will not translate this part, because I know you all are fluent in English...;-) )


So what else happend here?? My DD and I spent most of the last days on the International Juggling Convention, which apparentliy is taking place just litterally in front of our door this year and DD took two workshops at the youth circus, which is part of the IJC.


Was ist sonst noch so los?? meine Tochter und ich haben viel zeit auf der Internationalen Jonglier Convetion verbracht, die dieses Jahr sozusagen direkt vor unsere Haustüre statt findet. meine Tochter hat an zwei workshops im Kinder und Jugendzirkus teilgenommen, der auch auf der Convention ist.
It is unbelivable how profesionell the kids preformance was. Most of them only spent one morning practising for their gig and it was wonderful!!!

Es ist wirklich unglaublich wie proffessionell die Kinder waren. Die meisten hatten lediglich einen Vormittag für ihre Vorstellung trainiert und es war einfach wunderbar!!

Can you tell that her drem is to be an artist???
Sie will mal eine Artistin werden, kann man schon sehen, oder?

The next day she spent in another group, but that was just as wonderful!!

An nächsten tag hat sie bei einer anderen Gruppe mitgemacht, und es war genauso toll!!!

After the preformance was finished we spent some more time walking around and watching some of the most fantastic jugglers.....this guy is an unbelivable good contact juggler and he took the time to show us some of the basic things about contact juggling .... very cool!!

Nachdem die Vorstellung beendet war sind wir noch auf dem Platz beblieben und haben und einige von den fantastischen Jonglören angesehen...dieser Jonglör ist ein wahnsinnig toller Kontakt-Jonglör, und er hat sich die Zeit genommen und ein paar Dinge über das Kontakt-Jonglieren zu erklähren ... sehr cool!!!

take a break! Halt mal an

.... this is meant in a litteral and in a figurative sence! On Saturday night my DH´s godfather died. Out of the blue, noone expected it at all... we was on a holiday with his wife and daughter and after having a lovely day, he just died during the night. We were very shocked to hear this.

...in einem wörtlichen und übertragenen Sinne gemeint! Samstag Nacht ist der Patenonkel meines Mannes gestorben. Völlig unerwarted und aus heiterem Himmel...er machte gerade Ferien mit seiner Frau und Tochter und nach einem wunderbaren Tag, verstarb er in der Nacht. Wir sind alle noch sehr geschockt.

After the bad news we all got our own thoughts about how to lead your life and if you want to change one thing or the other.... take a break and think about it!

Nach diesen schlechten Neuigkeiten, gingen uns allen unsere eigenen gedanken über leben und Tod durch den Kopf, und ob wir nicht doch das eine oder andere ändern wollten.... haltet mal an und denkt drüber nach!
But of course life goes on for the living and we have new things to do: I have done some more DT work for the November Edition of Just Stamps ( Sneaky in the picture...;-) and today my DD has a Circus workshop, she was so happy to get in. I will Go round and see what they have learned in a little while..hope she enjoyes it!

Wie wir alle wissen, bleibt die zeit nicht stehen und das Leben geht weiter für die Hinterbliebenen. Neue Dinge passieren und es gibt neues zu Zeigen: Ich sitze immer noch an weiteren DT Arbeiten für die November Ausgabe von Just Stamps ( ein weiteres sneaky sehr Ihr oben...;-) und meine Tochter nimt heute an einen Zirkusworkshop teil. Sie war so glücklich darüber, teilnehmen zu können und ich hoffe sie hat viel Spaß dabei. Bald hole ich sie wieder ab und werde mir ansehen was sie gelernt hat.

Sunday we will start our trip to France, and we also have some friends coming for the weekend, so I fear I will nopt be able to blog until we are back from France... so I will take a break...;-)) Have a good time and see you when we are back!

Am Sontagg werden wir endlich in unseren Urlaub starten, aber vorher kommen noch ein paar Freunde übers Wochennende. ich denke mal ich komme nicht mehr dazu zu bloggen bis wie wieder zurück sind aus Frankereich...und so werden wir mal eine kleine Blogpause einlegen...;-)) Machts gut bis dahin und mehr wenn ich wieder zurück bin!

....slow days

isn´t it great when you can take your time and slow down??? The heat has made us slow anyhow. We are doing all these little things that we normaly don´t find the peace to do.

Ist es nicht toll, wenn man sich Zeit lassen kann und nicht hetzten muß? Die Hitze macht einen sowieso extrem langsam. Wir finden endlich Zeit all die kleinen Vernachlästigten Dinge zu tun, die sonst zu kurz kommen.
