'SEE NO EVIL 2' Cover & Trailer Revealed

Being completely honest, I think the first See No Evil movie was mediocre at best, and I am not a fan. But with the Soska Sisters (American Mary) directing this sequel, I've got some hope for it. Judging what I've seen in the official trailer released yesterday at Comic-Con, this one seems to have a much darker plot and definitely seems like something I could get into. It's a crazy thought, but with this and Leprechaun: Origins on the way, WWE Studios may have a firm grip on the horror genre for the better. That is of course, if both of these are actually as good as their trailers make them look.

Today at Comic-Con we got a taste of what the new film in the Leprechaun series has to offer. It definitely looks a lot better than I expected. What I didn't expect was the way the Leprechaun looks! They went totally creature-feature with it, and erased the whole goofy image put on the character previously. In a way, I'm used to the little red-bearded creep in a spiffy suit, and yet I know that change was inevitable if the franchise was going to survive. What can I say, I'm looking forward to it. WWE pictures just may have hit this one out of the park. Only time will tell when it's released on August 26th.

I'm sure right now you're thinking "what is this Twixt stuff everyone is talking about". Well, I'm going to tell you. "Twixt" is a new horror film from the brilliant mind of Oscar winning "The Godfather" director, Francis Ford Coppola. The film is hitting DVD and Blu-Ray next week, so keep your eyes and ears open. What's the film about you ask?

SYNOPSIS: A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated.

"Crawl Bitch Crawl" Is Coming Soon

I recently found out about this film, and I cannot wait to give it a watch. Though it doesn't have a release date yet, it's set to land this year, so be ready and keep your eyes peeled.

NEW LORDS OF SALEM TRAILER

While I stand by the fact that Rob Zombie's Halloween and H2 are complete crap, I am still a fan of House of a Thousand Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. So I think there's some hope for this one. I won't hold the Halloween movies against him, I still know he has some potential. I happen to think he's a good director with a good vision for horror movies, I just don't think he was the right guy to tackle Halloween.

This new trailer for The Lords Of Salem actually gives us some synopsis of the movie and dialogue. This looks to have some serious promise to it. It looks like it's going to be a twisted Rosemary's Baby. Hopefully it's as creepy as this new trailer makes it look. Just from looking at the scenery you can spot it as a Rob Zombie film, it definitely has his touch.

Evil Dead Official Teaser Trailer (2013)

Evil Dead hits theaters April 12th, 2013 and is my most anticipated horror film for next year. This trailer shows us what we're in for. Hardcore, gory and terrifying as well as gross. Can't wait to see this!
