Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ A play of shadows round a side entrance to the Enchanted Maze, Arthurs Seat, Mornington Peninsula.
(This photo was taken before the main entrance opened to the public, but I expect this less grand entrance is more for deliveries! There is a cafe and souvenir shop here at the maze.)

Too bad it's closed, the shadows are quite inviting!
G'day old friend, I'm wondering what's behind the gates of the maze, how fun. We have many a maze in the corn fields here in the fall...scarey!!!
We are finally seeing signs of spring and boy are we ready for it. We should see some melting in the next week...bring it on!!! I'm getting quite anxious to bury my fingers in the warm sandy soil to get them seeds planted, the peas will be the first to go in...mmmm...
Six months of cold wintry weather sure takes it's tole on the body after 5 months of shoveling and hands white knuckling the steering wheel just to get to work...what we do to live where we live, though it hasn't been much better all over the states, we just have the advantage of being prepared, but it's still yucky!!!
Hope you're taking time for yourself, love that old structure in Melbourne and the collage of old history. It's so much fun to explore our own worlds...if we would only take the time. There's still places in Iowa that I've never explored, I'll have to rectify that!
Have a wonderful Sunday dear friend, as we await the tsunami threat here on our Pacific coast...glad I live way inland!
A still frosty hug from Iowa, can't wait for it to be a warm, floraly hug!

What a marvelous shadow shot and lovely words as always, Gemma! You do manage to capture the best shadow shots!! Love them! Hope you're having a good weekend!

Hehe. Looks like the shadows are trapped behind the fence! Good one.
Interesting entrance with shadows. The gate looks more like a formality than for the purpose of keeping people out. I wonder how many have jumped that fence?
The blend of man-made things, like the gate with its angular shadows and the leafy trees of nature. This mixture is great, the brilliant sun giving us viewers such shadow artistry...
The Enchanted Maze? I like the sound of that and wish I could visit. I'd love getting lost in those glorious shadows! Have a great week Gemma!
What a great shadow picture.
Happy SS Sunday!

Those gates say keep out, but it looks pretty back there. The shadows make nice patterns on the pavement, too!
