Hi Gemma, thank you for the nice prompt. I had fun with it.
Gold to me is precious and pure. Your poem reminds me of this without you saying it with those words. Thank you.
..
You've given the ultimate importance to nature there.
Your poems raise questions about beauty and freedom that will keep me thinking, Gemma. Nature's gifts are the greatest treasures, to be sure.
The beauty and bounty of nature are truly our greatest treasures!
'gold locks & gold keys' speaks to me about wise use of nature's bounty & life in general.
thanks for the gorgeous photos of my home country, a place i long to see one day. my mother left tasmania as a child & i know my grandmother speaks so fondly of her home. my uncle still lives outside of hobart. one day... :-)
Thanks for a wonderful prompt! This is definately as Sandy said above, a thinking piece!
I really like the contrast/connection between gold locks and gold keys!
Beautiful photos and some sage observations!
Each haiku is wonderful and philosophical..

Love the plant in the first picture, I wonder if this might not be a form of mimosa.
