This morning, I am very pleased to be posting my first DT card for Charisma Cardz, using this cute little image from The Stamping Boutique called Kitchen Shelf.
This week, the theme is Distressed and we have two wonderful sponsors!

For the distressed look, I have worked with DI's on the embossed card blank, the doily and the edges of the image. In addition, I've stamped the card blank, and the ribbon (lol) with a crackle stamp, for a different effect.
Now, be sure to head on over to the challenge blog and have a look see at the rest of the DT creations. There's lots of eye candy and inspiration to be found there, and hopefully you will join in our challenge! Hope to see you there!
Thank you so much for your visit, and here's hoping you have a wonderful day!

Really darling. Love the soft tones you used and the ribbon is beautiful stamped. Very clever.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card - using the green against the muted beiges pulls your eye right in and makes the image your focal point. Good Job!

I love the rustic charm of this card. Since the all the elements are neutral the image really pops. Thanks for joining us at Whimsy Stamps first Inspiration Challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Joyce - I love the muted colours and crackle effect for the background - and then the brighter colours for the image, it really pops. Fab work.
