Movie: Love & the pursuit of other impossible things
Caught it at Cathay... So long since i been there man!
So it was quite a treat to show at PS and Cathay...
The show packs a punch with its touching storyline.
Dont watch it if you had mascara on... it will make you cry...

The Lion King
The Lion King is a visually fulfilling musically. The set is vivid and a play of colors you find in the sky and in the safari land. I especially love the giraffe and pumba's costume and Scar's headpiece ( mastery!). Also beautiful is the herd of antelope/ gazelle pushcart thingy.
The best singers goes to the baboon and adult simba. :) my favorite scenes (I know it should be only one but there are too many) are: the opening- circle of life, the part musafa told about the kings of the past (stars) and the act after the interval.
Great acting from the bird- wats it's name, Scar, and Timone.
Great show for the family ( kids above 5 would appreciate it).

New Year Movie Treats
New Year Celebration started early for me... we had a great, really terrific dinner at 无名小厨 at Jalan Besar with relative to celebrate my cousin's and aunt's bday on 30th Dec.
I watch Gulliver's Travel with Jes & Co. lol. on 31st at my fav cinema (lol) at Yishun and had dinner there too. Finish up early and was in bed by 11.30pm. So, no fireworks for me but i slept great!
On the 1st day of 2011, i was shopping with my cus!!!! haha... bought a nice bedsheet/quilt cover set at a good bargain!
On the 2nd, i catch up with Jes to watch Love & Other Drugs which was Bloody Good! Seriously, i mean it is LOL funny and weeping teary too. And some parts are just down right sick (and wicked too). But still, all in good cheer.
If this seems like a list of events.. it is. Like Mich, I think I better write them down else i will be scratching my head wondering what i did last New Year. :)
Glad for all the company! And may our relationships all withstand the test of time!
