Groundbloom

I made this recently and have been chipping away at more episodes. It's the first in a series I hope to continue, called "Groundbloom." The artist, Maskull Lasserre, is a truly great guy, someone to learn from, and one of the first good buddies I made while living in Montreal this past year. More to come - Hope you enjoy. P.S. Go Full Screen mode with this one fo sho.

My April

I'm trying a little experiment. I am video documenting each day of my life this April, my birth month. This video chronicles my life from last week (April 1-5). Each event displayed is presented chronologically and each day is represented by 8 seconds of footage. Sometimes a day feels like a blur of exciting activity or to do lists, others are chill or uneventful. This is My Week. This is the beginning of My April.

Whadup Yauch

The Beastie Boys are my favorite band — hands goddamn down. Naw, fuck that — "Band" is far too limited a moniker. Mike, Adam, and Adam collectively form my favorite Positive Emotion Inducing Creative Machine.

Most recently, Adam Yauch (MCA) has launched a film distribution label. The first release is his basketball documentary Gunnin' For That #1 Spot which will be in select theatres this month. I'm trying to get it here in Nebraska, but no word yet. Anybody wanna help?

This next clip is the first trailer of his new movie :)
