I lova my girls!

I miss Hanna's curls! I can't believe how curly her hair used to be!!

I love these girls so much. I just wish they would stay this little forever. It goes by so fast.. I have to keep reminding myself that even though we may have are ups and downs, I need to cherish these moments because they will not last forever. I need to just sit back and laugh and smile at whatever the situation. Even if I am not liking them that day because they had just poured an entire 64 oz bubble solution bottle into the floor, or mixing 18 eggs into my couch. I need to cherish it.. and laugh. Laughing makes everything so much better. That is my new goal for this year!

Good Things to Come

Who is a new kindergartner?? HAILEY!! Who is a new preschooler?? HANNA!! This time has come again to get really excited about school. This year was a little bit different. This year, we have a full day kindergartner AND a preschooler. I take Hailey to the bus stop at 7:24am.. and school starts at 8:00am until 3:10pm. I will take Hanna in the morning at 8:50am until 12:00pm. Hanna is enrolled with the same teacher Hailey had last year, Mrs. Van. We really liked her so we lucked out. They will be going to different schools, so it will be a little difficult to get use to.. but I'll get the hang of it. Its all part of the routine, baby.
Tonight, we had a visit from the "Back to School Fairy". She didn't stay long, but left a bag for both Hailey and Hanna to get them excited for the school year. Of course, she didn't want Maddie to be left out so she left a few books and some crayons for her. The girls were so excited. Hanna even exclaimed "I am SOOOOOOO excited for school tomorrow!!!!!!" She was jumping up and down and smiling so big all you could see were her cheeks.
Then Dad gave each girl a Father's Blessing. It was a fun night. We are excited and so ready for this school year!

Thursday evening was back to school night for both girls. Hanna was excited that she gets to have Hailey's teacher from last year for her teacher this year.  Mrs. Van is her name. Hailey met her kindergarten teacher and her name is Mrs. Mutzenberger. Hailey pronounced her name as "Mumenberber'. We are surprised and excited to hear that both her friends, Hailey J. and Maggie are in her class! Hailey J. was in preschool with her last year, and she met Maggie during her Kindergarten summer camp this summer.

"TRENDING NOW

  1. Frances Bean Cob…
  2. Emeril Lagasse
  3. Gold bullion pri…
  4. Chronic lymphocy…
  5. News Corp.                                         "

I went to sign in Yahoo! to check my emails. I figured it was probably a good idea since I haven't in a few days. There is always a "trending now" section which means that these topics are the most sought after within a certain time frame, and that search engine proudly shares the topics.

They usually make me laugh. This was today's. And today was the hardest laugh. Check out the first topic. "Most hated person". Hahahahahahahaha!

.......Really? Wow.

inspiration

I intend to redo Hailey's room in the next following months. The images below are what has inspired many of my ideas for her bedroom. I can't wait to get started. Where are those college loans already???

I love everything about this picture. Everything. I heart it so much.

I am sooooo doing something with Christmas lights. They should seriously start selling Christmas lights through out the year. They don't have to be named just "Christmas" lights either. Rather... "Pretty" .. or "Sparkly" lights...

I have already started on this hopscotch rug in her room and I can't wait to finish..... c'mon surgery.. lets get this over with alrighty??

That light bulb in my brain instantly turned on when I saw this. I HEART wire baskets. ALOT. I took out that middle drawer in Hanna's once, now Hailey's dresser/armoir and put it in the girls room as a decor item. I have an empty space where that drawer used to be and I have had no idea what to do with it. I just knew I had to do something with it because it looks so ugly. TA DA!!! I now know what to do!!! Yippee!!!

I have started on a pennant banner with the same coordinating colors that will go all the way around the room.
I can't wait to see it finished.
OH. And I am going to paint that dresser I had talked about turquoise.I am going to finish it with a black glaze to give it that "old" look.
Yum.
