Europe 2014 - Rome (Part 2)
Friday, June 13, 2014

Hi guy, i finally got my lazy-ass self to draft out another post.
It's been 2 months since i embarked on my 1.5 months journey around Europe!
& i honestly can't wait for my second journey (hopefully soon) to the remaining places
I have not been to, which is a lot more by the way.

ROME 08/04 - 12/04 (PART 2)

Rise & Shine, it's a new spring day in Rome!
This is legit spring, cool spring breeze, spring blooms and a random street.
(non-filtered, non-edited)

The cousin brought me to a door on a hill to look through the keyhole to see
an unobstructed direct view of the famed St Peter's Basilica.
It was pretty awesome.

The view of the entire(most-of it) central Rome in the Orange Garden

Of course, i need some gelato to kick-start the day!

After that, it was time for some me-time. Headed to the Colosseum and sat on a random
grass patch and started people-watching and admiring the amazing roman beauty.

Thereafter, i decided to be a lil crazy and started my 4km walk to Giolitti,
my favourite gelato place and for some shopping.

Just some soldiers to escort me to Giolitti (i wish)

AND TADAAA, it was worth the walk.

& that marked the end of my lone journey.
My sister joined me the next day, where we would start our 1 month travelling together.

Europe 2014 - Rome (Part 1)
Saturday, May 31, 2014

Hi everyone, i'm finally back from my 1.5month journey around Europe!
(Honestly i wonder who reads this but oh well)
Anyway, i'll take you through my journey around Europe through the eyes of my iPhone!

ROME 08/04 - 12/04 (PART 1)

Arrived in Rome in the morning and decided to stay home to recover from the tiring 13hour plane ride.
Headed out the next day to visit the typical tourist attractions in Rome!
It's my second time here, so basically i went around just to refresh my memory.
Initially, it was scary travelling around alone but after awhile, i loved it.

Gloomy clouds over the Huge gorgeous Trevi Fountain.
Sat at the fountain & just people-watching.

Headed over to the Pantheon. Like wow. I still can't, it's amazinggggg.

Piazza Navona, filled with music and artsy stuff. Loving the atmosphere here

Walked randomly and found a really cheap pizza place, i died.

& after that, i finally walked to THE FAMOUS GIOLITTI.
After trying so many gelatos around italy. This is THE best.

After all pumped up from the gelato, headed down the shopping street in Rome
and ended up at Piazza del Popolo. This piazza is symmetrical by the way, which is damn cool.

That's the end of Part 1 of Rome! There's still a lot more to go so stay tuned :)

Chinese New Year 2014.

Hi guys, i can't believe i actually set aside time to draft out this post.
But yes, my blog shall now be my personal diary and a place where i can come back
and reminiscence the past, both bitter and sweet.

#onlytimetoOOTDandnotfeelshameless #awkwardpose #sunlightburningme #snapandrun

Tradition. Family photo before going to visit dad's side.

One dish i look forward to every new year. Jiajia's awesome Woo Ta Pan (Abacus seed)

Awesome food at mum's side.

Spent my visiting time at mum's side playing with my nephew.
Finally got to get close with him and although it was tiring for me i truly enjoyed it.
Taught him how to smile when taking a picture and he so cutely copied me.
This boy is going to grow up and be a really really smart boy.
#goodupbringing.

My love for mahjong + Zombies meet-up before Tim gets whisked off to Commando land.
Thankful for this group of friends. We're the weirdest mix of people, but we
sure have extremely good team work. #3yearsandcounting #allthankstoL4D2

Found $82 on the floor and it was like as if money literally dropped from the sky
and appeared on the floor. Ended up using most of the money to pay for our dinner.

Tradition. CNY Cheese straws that have become squares.

Self-declared a one-day school week and headed off for lunch at prive!

My new read, can't wait to complete the book.

Dimsum breakfast and a really thought-provoking conversation with the girls.
It really made me appreciate where i am right now and realized how
protected we were before.

Headed over to chew's house for steamboat and mahjong!
I've got to say, i really really love mahjong (i don't gamble $).

I, forgot what we were doing. Probably a movie?????

Back to school for gosh, revision lecture, i really hate it.

Yay to study dates with Trisha, probably the last one before our poly ends :'(

Super impromptu date night with K.
Dinner -> Movie -> Supper.

I love this. The green tea was heavenly.

& THAT SUMS UP MY CHINESE NEW YEAR FOR 2014!
