The first day here Shelby took to John like she's known him all her life. It was so cute. He sat down and immediately she came over and plopped down with him. She craves attention from him, and LOVES every minute of it! John didn't want me to put this picture of him up, but I had to. They look so comfy together! Don't mind the sheets on the couches, I know they look horrible but with the cats, we had to have them on.

Looks like she is a good dog!! Does she shed a ton?? How is she with the baby? SO.. what is her story? Where did you get her... why did they get rid of her... blah blah blah...
Well, she only sheds twice a year. She has a ton of fur, but really doesn't shed that much which is cool. And she LOVES the baby! She likes to lick his feet and that's gross, but I guess it's better than biting! She's 4, and the family who had her actually lived in our neighborhood. I found her on KSL. They had her inside up until the last year, then they just got tired of her and stuck her outside and neglected her. So she hasn't been brushed in about a year I'm guessing, or bathed in who knows how long. They just didn't take care of her. She's such a good sweet dog! I can't imagine how they could get tired of her. But now we can't brush her because of all her mats, so we're taking her to the groomers and getting her fixed up. But she's really really good about not barking or jumping or things like that We took her for a walk, and she wouldn't even bark at other dogs! They would be going nuts and she would fight like crazy trying to get to them, that's the only bad thing, but she would NOT bark. She'd make noises like you could tell she wanted to, but she didn't. She's a very good dog!
