Hey girls!! I got the new Spring '09 Vera Bradley catalog in the mail today!!! Such cute new bright colors for Spring and 2 new styles! I can't wait:) Well, actually I have to wait cause I don't have the money to spoil myself with one yet!
The purse shown above is the style "Gabby" and the pattern is called "Hope Garden". I think I want this style, being that its hand-held as opposed to one with a shoulder strap. I have small shoulders and my purse straps always slide off and it drives me nuts!!
This bag below is the pattern "Cupcake Green" and the style is the "Villager"; its nice and big!!
This is the "Cupcake Pink" pattern that I think my mom will love and the style is the "Large Tic Tac Toe Tote". CUTE!!!
Here is the pattern that I am in LOVE with!! The pattern is called "Purple Punch" and this is a new style called "Lisa B"; its has 2 slanted zipper pockets in the front, which is new to Vera Bradley.
I'm late to post today because I volunteered at Gavin's Book Fair at school this morning! Then I met him in the cafeteria for lunch; those cooks can make a mean grilled cheese-yum!! So tomorrow I will take off to my Scrapbooking Get-Away; yippee!! I need to pack up all my tools, supplies and albums tonite; hopefully I'll have enough to work on for oh, say 12 hours of cropping!! I need to make some tag and card samples for a crop and a show that I have next week. I am also working on a album for Gavin and one for Gage; I also started an Engagement Album for us with all the pics we had taken back in the Fall.
I tend to majorly over-pack anyway, so it will be interesting to see how much stuff I end up dragging with me:) I have been having a nasty cough now for the past 24 hrs and my chest hurts so bad!! The dr. gave me some meds that I hope will start working soon.
I hope you all have a great weekend with your families; and are able to find sometime for yourself to do some crafting, scrappin' or Goodwill shopping!!

I totally heart these bags, I expecially like the last one. The colors are great and the cupcake pink one too! Can't wait for patterns to come in, now I know why a bunch of things were on sale at our VB store.

One day in the store, I saw what I assumed was a mother and and adult daughter. They each had a big colorful bag of the same pattern but different colors and I got caught staring. :> I told the "mom" that I was just admiring their bags and she rooooolled her eyes and thumbed over to her daughter and said, "She wanted us to have matching bags!" The poor "daughter" looked so hurt and embarassed. :< Oh my goodness! I'm getting teary eyed just thinking of it! Poor girl! I'd have a matching bag with her! Ha-ha! Too much Sudafed today!!!

Noelle, Fooled you!! I like the purple one you like best!! I've too many pink that are still so new! Not sure in what style I like. I have my new pink sunglasses but they may be too dark and will have to lightened. Never fails. PLEASE have fun for me!!! The only thing good about the weekend is the cherry cheesecake I made and snowflakes to fall, be safe driving! And YES I'll take the show just you and me! Now next year at this time can I then steal Gagie pattie for the weekend?? I'll have to make him a new robe for then on my machine, that's if he doesn't take it from me, jerk! Love,Mom
