If two concert recordings somehow weren't enough I have one more beautiful document of this incredible duo. Despite already travelling from Chicago to Toronto 2 and a half months prior, they returned for another special 3 day engagement at the Trane. This time i was only able to attend the first of these 3 days. With this document there are many more possibilties explored by the 2 players and this is IMHO the best of the 3 concerts I have documeted. I hope you're not bummed by having another helping of this duo but you might be hard pressed to find another one.

Two very fine performances by these two giants. They played a special two-day engagement at The Trane during the recent summer and I was fortunate to attend both nights. There is a completely different vibe throughout both nights. It may have been largely due to the clientele on either of the given evenings. They were really burnin on the 28th, but don't let that take anything away from enjoying the 2 sets played on the 29th, all three sets here are fantastic. A rare document of these two masters in duo setting together.
