Going Dotty over Monochrome

Spots are on trend for the monochrome look, whether you go for the classic and timeless polka dots or you go for the bolder and bigger spots. Either way it’s time to get dotty over monochrome.

Wallis goes for the 40’s ladylike look with this black and white polka dot tea dress. But this lady has a cheeky side! From the front the rounded neckline is demurely high with flattering pleats, then turn around to reveal the cut out back! Price £40

Keep the 40’s theme and team with Langbury, a pair of spectator brogues from Dune. You’ll be surprised how feminine they look with the tea dress. Great for that energetic swing dance Lindy Hop plus all day comfort without compromising on style, Bliss! Price £69

(Boohoo dot dress)
Another cheeky dress is Boohoo Boutique Emily Sequin Polka Dot Tie back dress. Going more for the party girl look, the dots are bigger, the cut hole back is larger and the sequins will match your sparkling personality. Price was £35 now £25!!

You could play safe and add black accessories, but do your homework on mono trends and you’ll find you have to be daring to be top of the fashion class. The Vestry spotty satchel will get you an A+ Price £30

For a softer look, go dotty over black and ivory. The Italian raffia fabric on the below  Hobbs Invitation Harriet jacket £189 and matching skirt £119 adds texture but also tones down the colours. Ideal for those with a more muted and soft colouring.
Bringing the stripe and dot trend together is the Hobbs Invitiation Harriet dress on the right. Price £199

Both outfits are worn here with Hobbs Rene nude court shoes in suede £149.
