I am so excited to be hosting the challenge this week for Frosted Designs! This week I am asking everyone to play along with my "gifted" challenge. It is wide open: create a card that holds a gift or gift card, a gift tag, bag, box, a layout about a gift! I hope you will join in with us!!

Hi Frosted friends!
Today it's my turn to share a little scrappy goodness with you and since tomorrow is Halloween I decided a spooky layout would be fun. I have a Halloween album that I set out as part of my fall decorations each year. The album starts when my boys were babies, and goes through each page showing off their costume for every year. Now that they are 22 and 19, and don't dress up anymore, I still do a page each year dedicated to our family festivities (pumpkin carving, handing out candy, etc.)
I had lots of fun with this layout because I LOVE the colors and texture of Carta Bella's Happy Haunting collection. I also had fun cutting out some Halloween shapes with my Silhouette. I have a few more pictures over on my blog so I'd love for you to drop by and say hello sometime, but first be sure to visit the Frosted Designs store to check out this wonderful paper collection!

Friday Challenge - Kraft Paper, Flair & Chipboard!

Hey everybody, Brenshevia here and its my turn to host the Frosted Designs bi-weekly challenge. My challenge for today is Kraft, Flair and Chipboard Oh My! For this challenge we would like you to use kraft paper, flair and chipboard on your project. Yep! We want to see all three!
I decided to go with Pink Paislee's Hey Kid Collection. I fell in love with this collection the first time I saw it! So in addition to the Hey Kid Collection I used a kraft placemat from Jillibean, chipboard chevron confetti from the Frosted Design store and came up with this layout featuring photos from my most recent Disney trip with my family~

Mary Beth worked in the insurance industry for 18 years before one day she went crazy and quit her job. While exploring her creativity, she re-ignited her inner artist. She is now ecstatic to support herself as as full time mixed media painter and nationally known workshop instructor. Her mixed media process utilizes pastel, ink, marker and acrylics layered with various collage and texture materials; she welcomes so-called "mistakes" because they lead to wonderful opportunities and discoveries. She enjoys helping students find their voice and teaching them to critically assess their own work so they can grow as an artist.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm back this week to share another fun and easy project with you. I'm a huge fan of Echo Park papers so when Frosted Designs decided to carry them in their new store, I was thrilled!! I love this collection called "Beautiful Life" and when I needed a quick little gift recently, this was the perfect set of papers. I created this card and a small gift box using my silhouette machine and this cute Silhouette cutting file.

Hi everyone! I am so excited to be here at Frosted Designs with you today! I have an easy layout idea for you, but first I thought I would tell you a little bit about me and my wonderfully crazy life!
Since I'm a "get right to the point" kind of girl, I'll just give you the highlights :)
- I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 25 years (our 25th anniversary was yesterday)!
- We have two fabulous sons -- ages 22 and 19
- My oldest son is getting married in November, and my youngest just started college.
- I've been scrapbooking since high school when I lost my mom to breast cancer. Scrapping her photos and family memories is what got me started, and I've been hooked ever since!
- I own a mini album kit and page layout kit company called Artsy Albums, so I truly do scrapbook every single day and am blessed to be able to work from home.
- We have two crazy little dogs -- a 4lb Maltese who loves to watch TV, and a toy poodle.
- I have one amazing sister (see layout below) and an incredibly supportive family.
