Eighteen books read this month, I'm happy. What was interesting about your month?
Sandra, again I have to say this.. I'm truly impressed by the amount of reading you have done! 18 books in a month.. wow! I'm looking forward to reading Through Black Spruce.. :)
ReplyDeleteYou had a great month! I already have several of those on my wish list. :)
ReplyDeleteI am really curious about Per Petterson's To Siberia and was glad to see you rated it highly.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great reading month, Sandra!
I read 15.5, you read 18! I am impressed!
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a book every day and a half. I didn't notice a dud in the bunch.
ReplyDeleteWow you have been very busy. LOL I only managed 5 books last month.
ReplyDeleteGood Grief Sandra!
ReplyDelete18 books in one month - that's like a book every 2 days...gulp!
Yoshimoto's Kitchen is on my 'must read' list as well so I'm hoping you're going to post your thoughts on that one too...no pressure or anything :o)
Anyway, have a great February!
Rob
You had a great reading month! I hope I can read at least nine this month.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Book Thief! One of my favorites and an amazing book. Sounds like you had a great reading month in January!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great reading month!
ReplyDeleteQuantity-wise, I had my worst reading month in many, many years, but I did read some excellent stuff.
Wow - 18 books!! I'll watch for your review of A Mercy Sandra - I really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI see you gave 5 stars to two of my favorite reads from last year: Tomato Girl and We Need to Talk About Kevin. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the comment on my wrap up. I have to say, I think you did rather well yourself - an eighteen book month is very impressive!
ReplyDeleteI read some great books in Jan. but nowhere near 18 or them. I was aiming for 8 but only finished 6. I just posted a review of my favorite for the month, The Secret Scriptures, which was awesome. And so far Feb. is looking good too as I started Hotel on the Corners of Bitter and Sweet last night.
ReplyDelete18 books in one month...oh my, I wish I could manage that. It really sucks being the slowest reader on the planet. ;) I'm so eager to read so many of those ones on your list--The Tomato Girl, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Elegance of the Hedgehog, Kitchen...
