V4

I, for once have not even been into a Thai Club cum Live Band Bar before, so i decided that i did try, with all my friends of course... With my reassurance given to Jaisie - I've never done that before, sad to admit, but im glad that our relationship was paving new grounds in trust and companionship. With that in mind i dropped Jaisie off at home and made my way there. Driving at my normal pace i got lost, Geez and where? in Geylang, saw Trannies and skirts that couldnt and shouldnt be called skirts anymore. That didnt bother me much, till a tranny tried to flag down my car. I did contemplate on running Shim over, i guess it did ruin his/her career and i dont think plastic surgery would help - It didnt help in the first place taking into consideration his face already looked like roadkill. Anyway that aside i finally got to V4 and found my good friend who promptly brought me into the club. Did my rounds around the table, wishing the birthday boy and shaking hands with the rest of my friends. Downed a few shots of beer and settled down upon my bar stool. The band was playing and the bar girls were making their rounds, i could see that many of my friends already had a girl - i needed none, didnt bother me. But im amazed that the club is able to pay all of their salaries there were a good 50 of them running around, hugging, kissing their customers. Then it hit me, everything in front of me is a facade. A facade of happiness portrayed upon their smiles which mask their underlying cause - to earn money. Well one could work an honest living but not being a resident of SG they were on visas and what was the fastest way to earn cash? To work in a club, a sad truth. I spoke to ( Insert Name ) - Frankly i forgot and didnt catch her name, all i knew was that she was 26 but looked 18 and had a very tiny frame with a mole below her left eyebrow, i asked her how did she know how to speak english and was even more astonished to learn that she didnt know ANY english at all when she came 5 months back but is able to hold a decent conversation with her clients. Through sheer determination she learnt english. Very excited to speak of her home town and soon to be very drunk. Drowning one's sorrows perhaps? Im sure many of them do not wish to work in such a line where they are sometimes treated as, how do i put this, Dogs? To beg and lap for attention and hopefully get more money in return. Every drink = Commission. Every bouquet of flowers given by a customer = $10. I felt that it was pathetic to get drunk night over night in hopes to break the cycle of poverty. If they were rich they wouldnt be in this trade. So after 3 shots of beer i took a break by flushing myself with water. This other girl came by and this time i was even more dumbfounded, she spoke fluent mandarin abit the slur because she was drunk. i told her i was drink so no drinks. She went to the next table poured a shot and tried to pour it into my cup of water, she missed and poured it onto my crotch. Nice one. way to ruin my day. She kept apologizing and i did nothing to hide my displeasure. First you came to me in a cheap sleazy outfit, drunk and close to passing out. Then you poured a nice dose of liquor onto my pants. Disgusted that she couldnt control her liquor, moreover she the one that was suppose to take care of her customers. With dollar notes running in their eyes no one really bothered serving me because well, i didnt bother. i wasnt of any benefit to them whatsoever. All in all, i was glad that i wasnt bothered. TO BE CONTINUED... i need my sleep.
